Bargain at £20, ridiculous at £50. Could do with being more concentrated.
I actually really liked this in general, I've bought it twice before. I love the scent, it's very light and mild, but I do have to use more than I normally would of a fabric conditioner as it is very thin and watery. Considering it's an Eco product it would have been better making it more concentrated, thus saving on the giant plastic packaging. Still, it was rather a bargain before at around £20 but has more than doubled since earlier this year. At the lower price mark I didn't mind that I was having to use more but I wouldn't buy it at the £50 mark, there are much cheaper eco alternatives out there where you don't need to faff around with getting the liquid out of a ridiculously large awkward bottle......🤷♀️

A great eco product
My only reservation is the fact it arrives wrapped in thick black plastic. The product obviously and successfully ticks many environmentally responsible boxes but fails on this one. I really do have to question what purpose the black plastic serves - it certainly isn't for protection.

Great eco-sensitive product but a little tricky to handle
We started using this product as we were looking for a cost effective, natural conditioner. The conditioner is lightly but pleasantly scented, softens clothes well and doesn't cause any issues to our toddler who suffers with Eczema which was a must. The large container is a little awkward (even for decanting) but with the addition of a large funnel and a smaller bottle nothing insurmountable.Overall we are really happy with the product and would highly recommend it, we used Ecover before and this is certainly comparable but at the time was significantly cheaper. The only reason I am not awarding 5* is just because of the ease of pouring.

Great value for a great conditioner
Great value fabric conditioner. I make a lot of my own household products and toiletries, but I've not discovered a way to make a good homemade fabric conditioner (yes, I've tried vinegar, and I'm not impressed). A few people have said that they're not impressed with Ecoleaf because it's runny but I've not found that to be an issue. Yes, it's runny, but it still conditions the fabric just as well as thick conditioner does so what does it matter? In fact, it makes it easier to decant into smaller bottles for everyday use. Does all the usual fabric conditioner things - reduces static, creasing, smells nice, makes things feel soft, etc, but without causing indoor pollution from VOCs. Added to that it comes from Suma, a workers' Co-operative. What's not to like?

Smells wonderful.
I have only recently received this item so can't comment on how long the bottle lasts for but I purchased it after reading great reviews. I have switched to using soap nuts to wash my clothes with and didn't fancy using essential oils to add fragrance to them so opted for this fabric softener. It smells wonderful - really fresh and clean smelling. I have been using about 1/2 cup in each wash and it's very strong so will be trying it to see how it goes with just using a cap ful or two. I will update at a later point when I am half way through the bottle to give an idea of how long it lasts - if reviews are anything to go by it lasts quite some time!

Ecoleaf Fabric Conditioner 20 Litre
This was a good price. It does the job and will probably last a lifetime LOL. It did need a bit of stirring as it had settled. It was hard to get the cap off. I bought a syphon pump so that I could get it out of the container and into an empty bottle. You would find it very difficult to get it out a capful at a time for putting in the washing machine. You do need to decant it out into a smaller bottle, you would not be able to lift this monster container to pour from. It works out about half the price of buying in separate bottles, especially with the 15% off for the Subscribe and Save and free delivery.

Gorgeous!
1st review. I love it, the smell is gentle, refreshingly clean without all the chemicals! Love it!2nd review, after I finished the 5l supply.:Ordering the 20L container now. I love the gentle smell as it used to be when my mum washed clothes with soap. Cannot say 100% this is the cause as I am trying to be chemical free in every aspect of our lives, but my daughters eczema disappeared on her legs.I do not mind that the smell is not strong. Natural smells are gentle. Strong smells are made from chemicals and I know what I would rather have.

Eco and baby friendly
We use a grey water system so an eco friendly product was essential and this one ticks all the boxes. As new parents we also needed a non biological or chemical laden product for our washing, again this ticked the boxes and is surprisingly low cost in comparison to so called 'baby safe' products. But does it work? Well yes it does, once we sent an email to Suma to ask what quantity we should be using in a wash (30ml for a medium wash) we decanted from the large container to a smaller bottle and the problems that another reviewer had are resolved.Clothes are soft and fresh smelling, although not perfumed.Perfect for us, our baby and our environment.
