Very effective in keeping my aches and pains under control. This is not a soft vibrational massage. Its shiatsu. It works your muscles and tendons so you might need to put a towel or extra layer of clothing between you and massage cushion. Only drawbacks are getting the only when the massage is working and the timer is only 15 minutes. Wish I had options.

It works exactly as I’d hoped. I feel like a new man every time i use it, which is daily at this point. I feel so relaxed and the knots in my upper and middle back have all but disappeared. If you struggle with tight muscles and back pain, this is for you. I put it on my recliner and in my office chair both and just let it run. I do cycle it through 2 or 3 times, as the timer shuts if off. The kneading action of it is just right and the heat is a nice touch. As i say, it hurts so good.

Pretty good massage pad. Gets pretty deep and works well. Does not heat, or at least mine does not.

I've actually bought 3 of these, one as a gift, one for myself that I broke by dropping something heavy on it (a couch leg when I moved furniture) and breaking the plastic guide inside, and this one. I bought a smaller unit of a different brand once and it almost caught on fire because of a bad cord and that company has had multiple issues with that and didn't want to hear about mine but I sent it to them anyway and told them no I didn't want a replacement or a coupon. I came back to this brand because it's solid (except when you drop couches on it, not the product's fault) and helps with that knot one gets in the "chicken wing" upper back area. I'll buy a 4th one someday for myself or another gift.

I call him Fred. Fred is my new best friend. I LOVE this Shiatzu Massage pad. I probably use it too much. The first couple of days I didn't want to leave my house, and I believe I gave myself bruises on my back because I used it too many times. It is a good idea to use it only a few times a day at most. But even when you over use, one can control it by how hard one leans into it in certain points of the back. Honestly, I do love this. I paid less than I would have for one human massage (which I also highly recommend, but . . .). So if I wear it out too quickly, I'll just replace it. Fred is my new best friend!

Leaves you incredibly sore. I get massages and thought this would help with the pain in between. I was wrong. It causes more pain than it relieves. I’d go with a different type or brand next time.

I like your homedics back shiatsu massager more than the Snailax brand for performance, except that I hate the remote control literally sewn into & attached to the back instead of on a cord. Its very hard to reach and you have to get up each time you want to change your settings or turn it on or off. Its a bad inconvenient design. Probably won't buy it again bc of the remote. Every other back massager I have had always came with an extended cord.

Item received without damage. But it doesnt work. I connected the item to power socket and it doesnt start at all.

Adapter is not getting fitted in any of tye converters as well.Tried all the converters. Please advive
