GlowShift’s Tinted 7 Color Series Celsius Water Temperature Gauge allows you to easily monitor your engines coolant temperature ensuring it does not over heat, causing major engine damage. This water temperature gauge reads from 40 to 150 degrees Celsius with the included 1/8th NPT electronic temperature sensor. This gauge features an illuminated red needle that will sweep 270 degrees, and is powered by stepper motor technology ensuring your needle movement is smooth and your gauge readings are extremely accurate. This gauge also features a low profile tinted lens, as well as 7 color through dial lighting. GlowShift’s 7 Color through dial lighting allows you to match your vehicles factory dash lights or add a custom look to your interior that is second to none. Our 7 color through dial LED lighting system lets the user easily cycle through 7 solid color modes, along with 2 color cycle modes, and for easier night driving the LEDs can be dimmed 30% when connected to your factory headlight switch. With the included color memory recall feature you don’t need to worry about adjusting the color of your gauge every time you turn your vehicle. Review: The gauge and sensor was installed using the instructions in the manual and the YouTube video posted by the seller. I like the display, however, the product is not performing as expected. The reading is very high sometimes going up to 120°C with light driving. All checks on the vehicles cooling system does not show any sign of overheating. When the vehicle is started after being parked for about 1 hour the guage immediatley shoots up to 120 and stays there for a time, occasionally going to 110 then back to 120. I am sorely disappointed with this product as I bought it as an alternative to the vehicles factory gauge/sensor. Based on what I am experiencing I would not recommend.
