Twelve South AirFly Pro 2, Bluetooth Adapter, Pair 2 AirPods, White

I bought this product to use my AirPods Pro 2 on long-haul flights with in-flight entertainment. It’s much smaller than I expected, fitting neatly into a small handheld bag. Connecting my AirPods was easy and the device reconnected quickly after the initial setup. Throughout my 21-hour flight, I experienced no lag or latency and the sound quality exceeded my expectations. Charging was quick and lasted the entire flight. Considering the higher price, the device felt well-built with sturdy buttons and switches. I haven’t tested it with other wireless devices since my AirPods are my only pair. While I don’t have any drawbacks, I think the bag that comes with the device should have a zipper instead of drawstrings. Overall, I highly recommend this for anyone flying long distances and using wireless headphones with in-flight entertainment.

A bit more expensive than other versions I looked at but worth the extra money for ease of use, small size and discrete operations. Pairing on my Sony noise cancelling wireless headphones was instant, and I found this much more comfortable and relaxing than using the cheap in-ear phones provided by the airline. I can plug this into the plane's entertainment system overnight during the flight when the cabin is dark and there is no bright flashing light to distract me, like other brands have. The button text (eg on/off) on the green version is a bit harder to read than the white version so if you struggle with very small text or remembering which buttons do what, maybe get the white version so you can see more easily.

I used this on a number of flights recently and it is amazing. Easy to connect with no lag.

Works perfectly and is a game changed on long haul flights where you no longer have to worry about getting tangled up in wired headphone cords.Just one issue that stops it being 5 star - the markings that indicate what each switch and button is for are so small and faint they're almost impossible to see without shining a bright light directly on them. And pretty hard to read even then!

DOES NOT WORK! Did initial charge as directed and successfully paired to AirPod Pro 2 but battery indicator (+ button) did not work. On plane, device did not work at all. Although I purchased using my Amazon account and am eligible for Prime returns, the only return options are from UK. Cannot get support from Twelve South within Amazon, only if I register myself to their mailing list. DoNOT recommend! $50+ WASTED. Poor showing for a device very likely ordered most for international travel. I wish I'd gambled on one of many same-service products available for 1/3 of cost.

Easy to set up and worked perfectly on the airplane journey for the in-flight entertainment..

Used this on two recent ten hour BA long haul flights and it performed flawlessly.

While the sound quality and latency are good enough for a long flight, connecting has always been a challenge. Not least because in a dark plane, it’s almost impossible to distinguish between the two switches when trying to put it in pairing mode. I also found it difficult to switch between the two pairs of headphones that I use on long flights.

I don’t usually get this excited about tech accessories, but the AirFly Pro 2 seriously blew me away. I used it recently on a 12-hour Delta flight, and I can honestly say it made the entire experience so much better. This little device is truly a game changer for anyone who flies and wants to use their own wireless earbuds instead of those uncomfortable airline headphones.Setup was incredibly easy — just plug the AirFly into the headphone jack of the in-flight entertainment screen, press the button to pair, and within seconds my Apple AirPods Pro (2nd Gen) were connected. No glitches, no weird delay in sound, and the audio came through crystal clear. Honestly, it even sounded better than I expected. I watched a few movies and streamed some music, and there were zero issues the entire time.One of the best features is that you can connect two sets of earbuds at the same time. I was able to pair mine and my travel companion’s, and we both listened to the same movie together — totally wire-free. It made sharing the experience so much easier and more fun, without having to deal with splitter cables or one-ear listening.The battery life is also amazing. The AirFly was fully charged before the flight and lasted the entire 12 hours without needing a top-up. That gave me complete peace of mind, knowing I wouldn’t have to fuss with charging it mid-flight. Plus, it’s super compact and sleek — it took up virtually no space in my bag and is now a permanent part of my travel gear.If you travel at all, especially on long flights, I can’t recommend the AirFly Pro 2 enough. It’s absolutely worth the price, and once you use it, you’ll wonder how you ever traveled without it. Huge thanks to the creators for making such a thoughtful, high-quality product. Flying just got way more comfortable.

Der AirFly Pro 2 ist auf Reisen absolut genial und hat den Flugkomfort komplett verändert. Die Verbindung mit den eigenen Bluetooth-Kopfhörern im Flugzeug funktioniert kinderleicht und blitzschnell. Besonders praktisch ist, dass man sogar zwei Kopfhörer gleichzeitig koppeln kann – perfekt, wenn man zu zweit einen Film schauen möchte. Die Tonübertragung läuft stabil und ohne nennenswerte Latenz. Klare Empfehlung für alle, die sich kabellos durchs Entertainment-Programm im Flieger bewegen wollen!

Very good. This helped me with my airpods specifically for my tv, as it bad some delay, but this helped the process much better and there was a reduction in the delay, to the point where it wasn’t noticeable.Just be aware if you do want to use this make sure first your device has a 3.5mm jack, unlike my tv which it didn’t have one and only. A digital audio output, i had to buy a DAC to analog audio converter, they’re relatively cheap.
