Must read! *by A***E on Reviewed in the United States on June 16, 2014* First received package on date promised (2 day air). It became time to use test. I have used pregnancy tests before but I was not familiar with this brand, so I did read instructions throughly. Then I proceeded to take the test. Right away I believed there to be an error on the test. What I believed to be the control strip and the test strip on the unit, we're backwards from the instructed pictures! So that was frustrating to waste two until I realized the printed mistake. Then...Each test had a very heavy evaporation line. I did not turn out to pregnant that cycle so I know it is a big error in the test units. And if you're like us, ttc (or even an "oops" moment), no one wants to guess over an evap line! Also, they are manufactured with a plastic shield over the test area, with what the instructions call a "splash guard". Finally after those first two, I got smart and broke open the units to removed it, as they came filmy, slightly discolored, scratched and very hard to see through. Take that and combine it with the evap line...These test were impossible!So next step was to write the seller. She apologized and said she would send a replacement box that next morning. About a week and a half went by and no replacement recieved. I sent seller another message asking the status of the replacement box. She again apologized and said it would be sent out that day. I did receive it in 3 business days, and within the envelope was a hand written note explaining, and apologizing for the evap lines and such- "...Some of our shipment had been exposed to cold harsh weather conditions on our shipping freight, then shipped all over the country to different distributors....We have no way of tracking were those units ended..."First off, I have a huge problem with this company not tracking their product lots for obvious problems such as this.Second, why would they send me a "new replacement box" not knowing if it was from the damaged lot?!I'm not a business professional, however, I know a reputable company would eat the monetary loss, and dispose of all possible damaged units and start fresh in hope to provide best customer outcome and results.The reason for allowing a 2 star review opposed to 1 star for actual use of the product, is due to the company attempting to make me, the customer, happy (in their eyes) and did apologized. Some of the tests I used flooded in the viewing window. After they dried for about 20 minutes I could read them properly. My initial review of the product wasn't very nice. Today, I get in the mail a hand written envelope, with a hand written letter from Sophie herself apologizing for my problem with the original tests and an explanation of why that probably happened. Also enclosed was another package of tests. Even though my pregnancy has been confirmed by several other factors, I peed on a few....and they worked just fine. Within seconds I could see the result without any flooding or dye pooling.I think it speaks very highly of this company's integrity to send a hand written note from the owner. There aren't very many companies that would do that and I've never received such a letter before.
