I use it for developing circuits in the realm of RF, audio, and switching power supplies. So far, I have not come across any of the defects that people claim these scopes have. It works very similar to a Textronix DSO (I used to work in an avionics lab) and the FFT function is very helpful for analyzing distortion. Its operation is so intuitive that I didn't have to read the manual.Pros - big display, high upper frequency limit (compared to my previous 20 MHz scope), intuitive and easy controls.Cons - measurement tools can be tricky if you don't know what you're looking for. Not as simple as a multi-meter where the face value can be accepted unquestioningly.
