These battery holders are very nice. The leads are about 3" long and there is a cutout for the wires to let the holder sit flat. The battery flaps are very firm so the battery will not fall out. I recommend this product!

perfect for powering projects = the battery is a tight fit but they work satisfactorily.

My recent project required four AA single battery holders. My search found these. The pros: + Low price of $5.95 for a 6 pack with free Amazon shipping! + Pretty well constructed, holds the batteries tightly in place. + I have a couple spare AA battery holders, as my project only required 4! + Advertised - Type of AA Battery Holder: 1x 1.5V AA battery holder with wires. + Advertised - Leads have tinned wire end, wire Length: 5.9"/15cm, wire color: red and black. + Advertised - Dimensions: (L*W*H)/2.248" x 0.669" x 0.539"/5.71cm x 1.70cm x 1.37cm. The cons: - No mounting screws are provided. For my project, I had to source #2 flathead screws to mount these. Closing remarks: ▪ The 4 AA battery holders are working well, as expected in my project. ▪ The batteries install easily, but removing the battery requires something like a hooked wire spudger to pull up the positive end of the battery. ▪ In addition, once a battery is installed in the holder, the spring on the negative end may need to be pushed down to center it on the battery.

Worked well for my needs. I used one for a micro switch I wired for starting a wood race car for scouts. Good for anyone that needs a small battery unit.

Got these to fit inside a 4 or 6-in plastic ornament to put lights into. They fit into the hole perfectly
