does it work in motion?

The Carryout G3 is portable, but it does not work "in motion". Generally intended to set outside after you get to your destination. Set it on the ground, on a tripod, or even mount on the rv ladder.

Will this work with Directv receiver HD24?

The Winegard website says it will work with the H24 and HR 24. I don't know about the HD24. Best to call Winegard. They are very helpful.

New Winegard products have a 2 years warranty from the date of purchase.

Is the carryout g3 compatible with the winegard mt-4000 rv ladder mount?

No, it is only compatible with the RK-4000 roof mount kit, and TR-1518 Tripod mount.
