The handles are not metal.
These are pretty brushes and seem to be nicely made but I am a little disappointed that they are not actually metal or even weighted for a balanced feel when using them.

These are not suitable makeup brushes (they are too big).
The truth is, I bought these makeup brushes out of curiosity (because they're different from the more common ones) and I thought they had something good to offer, but I was wrong. They're just pretty and unique-looking brushes, but they don't fulfill the main purpose of a makeup brush. They're too thick, and if you're not careful, they can ruin your makeup. Also, because they're so large and dense, they absorb too much product, which makes you waste more. The application isn't even. Unfortunately, I don't have any positive feedback, other than that they look nice and elegant, but they are completely dysfunctional in all sizes.

She's happy not so much now
I don't use them personally, but the better half don't stop raving on about how good they are.Update turns out these just fall apart. At £75 a go you expect some endurance from them. The large brush has clumps of bristles pulled up, definitely not worth the money.
