ALPAKA Flight Sling 2L- Crossbody Sling Bag For Men Travel Lightweight,Portable, Packable, with Quick Release Shoulder Strap

I don’t daily carry a sling, but I do find it convenient to carry one while flying/traveling. Walking for long periods or distances while having stuff in my pockets irritates my thighs so a sling truly helps. Also helps to stay organized while moving around the airport and boarding a plane. Interior organization was plenty for what I carry while on the plane and need quick access to. Also more than plenty of space for what I would carry to walk around a big city while abroad. The back pocket not having a zipper made me think twice before buying this sling, but turned out that it wasn’t as big of a deal for me. I just used it to throw my phone in there for quick access. The strap is a bit narrow, but fairly comfortable. Would’ve been nice if it was a bit wider. Only other feature I would’ve liked is a small zipper pouch inside the main compartment to throw some small items that I would like to keep from falling to the bottom of the bag. I was able to use the tag inside to slide a pen, which was a feature I was looking for while doing my research. Other than that materias are great and helps that the interior isn’t black to help find items quickly.

I recently ordered and received an Alpaka Flight Sling. Before seeing the actual product, I was a bit concerned that the 210d outer fabric might be a little too lightweight. However, with the sling in hand, I can see that the 210d is perfect. It will be durable enough for travel (that's my expected use for the sling) and is light enough that the sling conforms easily to the load. When it only contains a few items, it remains very trim, but can easily accommodate a larger payload. Another concern I had before receiving the sling was the magnetic clasp on the carrying strap. Again, upon receiving the sling, I can now tell that the clasp is very robust and I don't foresee any accidental release of the clasp. Many reviewers have also mentioned that the back pocket, which doesn't have a closure, may be risky to carry things such as a passport. However, my passport wallet is just slightly shorter than the width of the pocket and fits very securely in that pocket. Worse case is that I add a small piece of velcro for additional security. All in all, this is a great sling and I suspect it will serve me for many years to come. Thank you Alpaka for designing such a slim and useful sling.

I took this bag to the Philippines and found it very useful for holding my passport, currency and other small items. The zippers are very nice and of good quality. Has pockets on the inside to help keep things separate and I liked it a lot. it is very comfortable and is very adjustable. When I was out exploring, I was able to make the sling hang from my chest, and when I was walking around on the beach, you can have it more relaxed and more to the side. The magnetic clip is awesome and once you get the hang of it, it is very nice. The color is great. The only thing I would say is that if you have a sling you already use, chances are you probably don’t need this one. I think it is advertised as a flying sling, but really, I have another sling that I could have used and would have worked just as well. I like trying out new slings just for the heck of it. It is a great sling and when it is on sale then it might be more enticing.

Bought this product with 2 use cases in mind: 1. When traveling, have my go to items when on a plane at arm's reach & not use the nasty seat pocket. 2. When out for walks, pack my belongings so empty the pockets. For the 1st use case, PERFECT. I can attach it to the food tray on the seat & have access to my phone, handheld game, earphones (wired or ear buds), cell phone, backup battery, keys (LOVE the built in key holder) & other small items I need to get my hands on that I don't wanna dig in my pockets nor go to my carry on if I don't have to. 2nd use case is ok, but felt a bit big for my walks. There are bigger slings (& some smaller 1's). It does hold everything, but I just got tired of walking 3-4 miles & this thing bouncing off me. Materials are EXCELLENT, shoulder strap is quite nice, but some may not be crazy about the quick release with the magnet. YKK aqua guard zippers are awesome, although takes a little more ummph to pull the zippers with aqua guard. Prefer that over non-coated zippers. Think the size is PERFECT for holding items on a plane. Could also be useful in places like theme parks & the like. Price point is also EXCELLENT. 1 thing people may not be fond of is the back pocket not having a zipper. Not a deal breaker for me, but for others, could be.

I've been looking at small slings for quite a while, trying to find one that would be compact, but able to carry my daily essentials. This fills the role very well. I carry a Galaxy S22 Ultra, an iPhone 12, a set of wireless earbuds, my wallet, keys, a spare spen, and a pouch with my insulin & pen needles. This all fits without making it feel overly heavy or bulky. I tried a few larger things as well. It can fit an iPad mini, but not an iPad Pro 11 or Galaxy Tab S6 Lite. I can squeeze in a pair of headphones, but it feels pretty packed with those inside. This isn't a problem as I don't carry those all the time. The strap is comfortable. I like the magnetic disconnect point. It feels secure enough to me so I'm not worried about it coming loose during use. The gatekeeper clips were slightly difficult to open and close, but not actually problematic. There's a magnetic key strap in the front pocket. It's a little short to use without unlatching the keys, but doing so is quick and easy. I'm very happy with it.

Best “man bag” I’ve found. I casually looked for a man bag for a few years but most are bulky and more like small backpacks. This thing is incredible. I use an iPad mini all day and it fits PERFECTLY inside the main compartment in a felt lined pocket. Then there’s another main bag thin pocket where I keep a pen and any random papers and my earbuds. There are two small half size pockets sewn into the other wall and one holds my credit cards and receipts and the other I slide my glasses into if needed. There’s an outer zip pocket for my keys, including a lanyard type of clip so you never lose your keys. I don’t need any more space but wouldn’t want any less. It’s like they designed it just for me. Minimalist but VERY good. It has a very low profile too and isn’t bulky at all with the loot I normally carry.

As you'll see by the photos, I've come to really enjoy Alpaka products. I've got quite the collection and this Flight Sling is my new favorite. And not just out of the Alpaka slings I own, but out of any sling. When I first got into slings (about 4 yrs ago) I tended to go for larger slings, and I would pack them with a bunch of things I didn't really need. As time went on I would remove things and downsize my carry. I'm at the point now where this 2L flight sling is the perfect size. My favorite thing about this sling is the rip stop material and the way it forms around your body. I've always really liked xpac, but those bags tend to be more stiff and solid in construction. This one reminds me of the tomtoc aviator sling I have, in the way it fits and carries. Except the flight sling stays much slimmer and isn't bulky at all. The build quality and materials is a given for Alpaka, so you won't have issues there. I own around 10 of their bags (will be pictured) and I haven't had so much as a loose thread on any of them. The price of this sling is also much lower than their usual products, but it's just as awesome as any other. The strap that comes with this bag is great. It has the magnetic slide buckle (which is my favorite buckle on any sling) and it's a 1" strap width. I don't really have issues with these straps, but bc I have so many slings, a while back I started modifying and making my own straps for slings (have a picture of my supplies for that lol). So I created a strap I like even more. It's mostly a strap from a topo designs sling I own. It is 1" on both ends, but it tapers to be 1 1/2" in the middle. And modified it with the Alpaka slide buckle to get the best of both. So if you notice it in the pictures, just know it doesn't come with this sling, but the sling it does come with is also good. This sling also has very simple organization. Which I've come to prefer over the years. It fits everything I need and stays slim and form fitting when carrying. The colors are awesome as well. I really like this blue with the grey/silverish interior. It looks slick and people have complimented on the color. But other than that stuff, I have a bunch of photos of things like me wearing the sling and pictures of the sling with all my other Alpaka slings. As well as a couple comparison pics with the tech case mini and tech case, and what the sling holds inside. I would definitely recommend this Alpaka Flight Sling 2L. Just be aware of what you need to carry, bc it's not for everyone. If you have a large carry, you'll need to find something bigger. So take a look at my carry and see if yours is close to that. That'll give you an idea. If it's much bigger than my carry, this 2L size might be too small for you. Also if you aren't a fan of the 1" strap size, take a look around the market for one you prefer. Just make sure it has the same kind of G hooks or spring gate hooks for attachment That's another nice thing about this sling, you can swap straps or use it as a little case inside another larger bag. But pick one up! You'll love it!

Great build quality and material. Good for limited amount of items, and to use as an EDC (everyday carry) bag. Could use a slightly larger bag, if they come out with a larger L rating size. Another recommendation would be for the company to also make a version with expandable size panels in the main zipper to allow bag to open outward as well. Alpaka does make other bags with those, which you can easily find by searching just the brand name.

普段使い様に購入しました。想像より素材がしっかりしていてとても安心して使えそうです。iPad mini7、財布モバイルバッテリー。ケーブル類を入れて丁度のサイズでした。 背面（ボディー側）のファスナー無しポケットにはiPhoneをスッと入れ出し入れがスムースで良さそうです。とても気に入りました。今まで持ち出していた物をそのまま入れたのにこのバッグに入れたら何故か軽くなった様に感じました。 末長く使えたらと思います。追記、昨日雨に振られる中利用してたらファスナー部はしっかりと雨を弾いていたがカバン本体は全く撥水せずに吸い込んでました。何か残念な仕様な様です。

大きさ、ポケット、持ち運ぶにはちょうど良い私には最高です。
