I use it for all my homemade skincare and have been really pleased with the quality. I mix it with organic lavender oil and coconut oil to make my own body butter, and I also use it in homemade lip care. It melts easily and blends well, which makes it really convenient to work with. I find it to be very high quality and it produces the loveliest shea butter products. One thing to note is that if you want to add an essential oil, you’ll need to use a carrier oil as well. I’d also recommend keeping it out of direct sunlight. My only downside is that I wish it came in larger quantities, and I’d also love the option of glass or more sustainable packaging. The product will be packaged in two 500g pots. **Q: Is it grainy or smooth** A: It is smooth, however, when added to homemade balms it behaves differently: in some end products it stayed smooth but in others it became grainy after about a week. Still trying to figure out what may have caused it. **Q: can it be used for hair growth?** A: It's more of a moisturiser but can be used on hair to nourish the hair and scalp.
