Solid Motherboard for my Ryzen 2600 !!
Nice piece of gear for my Micro build !! Nice fit into my Masterbox Q300L (no cd/dvd). Came with updated BIOS out of the box (yes, i checked the site). Put my Ryzen 2600 into mobo, worked first time at stock speed (3.4) with my G.Skill Ram and Seasonic PSU. Fine print: Ram worked out of the box. Plug and play. Mobo recognized ram at 2133, quick change in bios to 3.0 - no problems noted. Same with CPU. Fired up at 3.4. Quick bios change to 3.8 - low volts and solid. I'm not an overclocker so happy and easy. Finally, it stock fan is VERY QUIET and super easy install in my case. Finally, finally ... with no cd/dvd in case I opted for a USB Win 10 install. OMG - Never will use a Win 10 CD again. USB 3.0 is SUPER fast - even with HDD. Windows site very easy to make a Win 10 USB. Just need a good Win 10 code for final install. Really really finally - i HATE the LED, PWR switch case connector BS. C'mon ... this is 2018 FFS !! All n all. Easiest build ever. OBTW: like the case option to put HDD on the 'backside' of motherboard area vice an drive bay - much cleaner wiring, very solid, :) Pros: Solid construction, nice layout, arrived with updated BIOS. Cons: -mobo faceplate for case - meh. Not sure if it's the mobo or the case connector but could not get my front case USB 3.0 connector fully flush with the mobo. Works fine, just not a good physical fit, not flush with bottom of the connection - i think it's the case connector, not sure. Diagram on printed instructions for mobo - weak for case connectors / my old eyes. Good piece of gear !! The To Go motherboard if you are starting on PC building.
Still to this day is pushing through with my AMD 3600 and it didn't gave a single problem. It looked great on my case and felt like it was well built and it handled my GPU a without any problems from the PCIE port. It's a bit lacking in the amount of USB ports, but with a good USB HUB, you can have some of those back. I had no problems with it while using windows 10, and I could without any problem do my assignments for college and play my games without any worries. If you are wondering if this motherboard can handle "Gaming" then you should be more than capable to game on it if you aren't looking for anything AAA from 2025 or onwards as the CPU's that accept aren't that strong for them. Other than that, like mentioned, it performed great.

Great Starter Mobo
This is a great starter mobo for anyone looking to build their first pc themselves. I have had nothing but good experiences with it. The features and specs are everything you can ask for and more for something in this price range. With 6 usb ports (4 usb 3.0 and 2 usb 3.1), pcei 4.0 support, amd gen 3 processor support, nvme m.2 support, and a boatload of uefi customization options, you really cant ask for a better option at under $80. If I had to complain about something, it would be the lack of water pump ports and internal usb ports for lighting. I recently had to run the rgb cord for my nzxt water pump to the outside of the case to an external usb port because the internal usb ports were taken by my network card (not optional) and my nzxt smart device v2 lighting controller (not optional either because it runs my case fans) so it would have been nice to have an option to plug more usb in internally without having to purchase a splitter. Overall though, you can't go wrong with this board. Just make sure you wont want to upgrade later. For those into upgrading, start with an ATX board because that has more options for expansion.

I got this motherboard and a Ryzen 2600. Most of the low star reviews didn’t do their research. First, you should do is go to the Asus site and see if the CPU you want to install is compatible. Also, make sure you know what you’re doing. Go on YouTube watch some videos to understand what you’ll be doing when you get your pc parts. Yes, it only have 2 fan slots and a CPU fan slot. Just get adapters to plug into your power supply and use those to power the other fans in the pc. Make sure you update bios. Don’t know how to do that? SEARCH IT UP. This motherboard is probably the best for its price. If you don’t care much about those crazy RGB lights then get this. Great product.
