It's very well laid out and touches on just about every topic a small child would need to know. The pages are large and the paper is thick. This is no magazine. My children loved the book and I even learned a few things.The book has a feature called "Internet-Linked". How does an Internet-Linked book work? The illustrations are colorful, and will capture the attention of your child whether you home school them, or just want to teach them! It has a lot more information about the body than I expected like eyes, teeth, muscles, stomach, etc. It has at least a page dedicated to each thing, but it's not too much for a young child about age 4-7.
