Old Trapper never disappoints. This peppered beef jerky is awesome—high quality, great texture, and packed with flavor. I also really like their hot & spicy version, but the peppered one hits that perfect balance of savory and bold without being overwhelming. I know some people worry about ordering jerky online because you can’t pick out the bag yourself like you can at the store, but honestly, Amazon makes it way too convenient. It shows up at your door, fresh, sealed, and consistent every time. The price is great, the quality is great, and I have zero complaints. I’ll definitely keep ordering it. My only “problem” is the salt content—high blood pressure means I should behave, but I love beef jerky too much and this stuff is worth it. If you’re on the fence, just get it. It’s genuinely great jerky.

Some of the best jerky! Great value too for the amount. Soft, and tasty, not overly hot either. Recommended over any other big name jerky brands.

The pepper flavor is strong, but not over powering. The texture is classic chewy, but moist. Good clean Jerky. I will be buying again.

This jerky is tender with perfect flavor. The only issue is trying not to eat it all in one day. It is one of the best jerkies out there and is perfectly peppered. I share it with my son, and we would love to get it more often, but the cost makes it more of a once-a-month treat. Best tasting jerky out there.

Good peppered, beef jerky. Nice size pieces. Only issue, and this is mentioned in other reviews, it's VERY salty. Great flavor otherwise. Definitely want to limit how much you eat in one setting due to sodium intake

Very good. Soft enough to chew and very peppery. Dogs liked it too- she pulled it off the counter and had a snack - which she doesn't normally do.

This is a great old staple in my home and office. Quick snacks as well as an add in to soups and on salads. Kids love them and it's healthy. Dogs and our cat love them too. Can't get enough. Curbs the afternoon crash when lack of carbs tries you.

I usually get this brand at Costco for the hot & spicy and Jack Links pepper. So when I saw this on sale, I jumped on it. The quality is actually better than JL. Good amount of pepper and the meat is in the middle. Some on the harder side, some more chewy depending on how much fat on each piece. I honestly love it overall.....as for someone eating beef jerky for decades, there is no way you get a all perfect bag of jerky....so this brand is above and beyond for me.
