Nice Holster!!
"Like a glove!!" Fittings good butttt you'll definitely need to break it in a few times with your draws. I have a light mount on the bottom that hits it ever so often and triggers my light switch on but I kind of like that feature now. So if you have a mini baldr mount it'll trigger the button just saying. All in all the "active retention" is nice too, it takes time to get use to but if you got trigger control it helps for where your finger belongs after the draw. I have both active and passive retention holsters from recover tactical and I say I like this one better when I carry. Also to mention the slip on feature is a nice tight fit too, whether your wearing jeans with a belt or tactical pants.

Good Quality Holster
This is a very good holster that holds my TİSAŞ 1911A1 45ACP pistol with rail and Olight Laser/Light securely and allows for easy draw. I like the positive retention that engages with the rail kit. The rail kit and laser also fit my drop leg holster.

Great Holster
Works great on RIA 1911. I installed their rail system that is made for this holster. The rail system is great and clicks into this holster with no issues. This holster also works with my walther .22lr 1911 although doesn't clip in because it doesn't have the detent that the rail attachment system has. But never the less works great.Initially has a clip on both sides to grab the gun. I removed the one on the waistband side to make it easier. one push from the index finger and its out and ready to go. Very smooth. It clips on a belt so you can take it off easily. better than my leather holster that needed to be fed through a belt. This is easy to put on and take off. It is also comfortable. you can adjust the angle of how it attaches so it can conform to you.

Decent within it’s scope; not for beginners.
Using a 1911 GI model with the recover tactical rails and an X300 light the Holster works as expected, draw is quick but the light will be activated upon draw 95% of the time. If being stealth is your thing, this will have some issues for you.The release mechanism is much like the Serpa holster, but vertical in orientation and better protected. The rubber “springs” that allow the slim 1911 to be bolstered with any (and they are serious, you can mount ANYTHING so long as it’s lower than the rails) rail mounted light are stiff and may loosen up, but upon first 50 draws don’t allow for smooth holstering (in some cases it requires “help” from the support hand. The cant of the draw is adjustable and an Allen wrench is provided for this purpose. I have not played with this, and likely won’t as I prefer straight up and down.As far as this being used for concealed carry, you have to be a very large person or have a big jacket, as his acts more like a duty type holster; not that anyone buying kydex should really expect concealment that withstands reasonable scrutiny. The holster does allow the thumb safety to be disengaged while drawing, and the magazine release may also be activated (at leat while in the completely vertical configuration). All in all, this is a good choice for an experienced shooter (again the holstering is problematic) or someone who is not out searching a building wherein an accidental activation of their light will give you away. It is by no means a good choice for anyone looking to use it on duty (police, military, or security) as the belt slot is not robust enough to withstand a fight over the weapon.

Works for me
I purchased these it as a package based on the Frequently bought together recommendation.Recover Tactical HC11 Universal Accessory Holster for The CC3H and CC3P Grip and Rail System… $59.95Recover Tactical CC3H 1911 Grip and Rail System No Modifications Required, Goes on in Under 3… $32.50Aimkon HiLight P10S 500 Lumen Pistol LED Strobe Flashlight with Weaver Quick Release for Glock… $29.29I had some issues with the light and the holster. Without the light the holster worked great. Easy to holster and remove and the retention lock works like it should. With the light mounted it was very difficult to holster and every time I had to fight to get the pistol out and when it came out the light would turn on. I changed lights and ta da it worked like it should. So the light is a problem not the holster, it works great with the different light. Over all I’m satisfied with holster. I would recommend it.

Waiting for a replacement...
I ordered the recover grip and rail at the same time as the holster. It took 3 weeks longer for the holster to arrive and it was broken with missing parts. The replacement is supposed to be here in 4 days. Will update the review when the new one arrives. The replacement came on-time, the day it was scheduled. Much better with all the parts intact. It even came in a box like it should have the first time.It will need a little fitting to get the rail system to fit the holster properly, but I can work with it. The grip area of my PT1911 is a bit too thick and causes a bulge. This causes it to "stick" when removing it from the holster. A little sandpaper and file work will get it fitting properly. It looks like it will be a nice system once it is set up properly. It is not a plug-n-play system for a Taurus PT1911 but I understand not every 1911 clone is the exact same size. Upgraded to three stars. Just can't give it five because of the hassle and poor fit.

hum
the instructions not good or missing pictorial, you have to be a very smart person to figure out screw position is inside and the hole in holster on right is for the allen wrench, the left lock release grabs and holds on when the right handed lock release is pushed.on and on, so i chopped off both left and right release, and superglued in place and made it retention only holster, other than that ok.
