I am seeking a trimmer that is actually 15cm wide...any suggestions?** A: I have very, very thick toenails and this is the best. This opens wide enough to cut you toe off, if you want to. I don't think you will find any thing better. I have been searching for years and have all kind of trimmers. This is a winner!!!! **Q: I should have rephrased question: has anyone used these clippers for normal (not especially thick) toenails?** A: I used them on fingernails when I couldn’t find my other clippers. You have to be careful, though, as they are designed to go deeper than regular clippers. **Q: Does this or does it not come with a file? Several pictures show a file but one comment said it didn't come with one.** A: Mine came with some sort of rasp but I wouldn't say it was a file.
