Bought this for growing succulent seeds and I’m really happy with it so far. The grain size is fine and consistent which worked perfectly for tiny succulent seeds. I used it as a light top layer to help hold moisture. It retains moisture well and there weren’t any huge chunks or debris in the bag. I included close up pictures to see the texture and grit better. Overall it feels high quality and worked great for my seed starting setup.

Will purchase again as needed and well worth it to me as a partial and full seed starter mixture. If you know anything about vermiculite and perlite you know they can be full of electrostatic so when you do open this bag as it is vacuum sealed it would be wise to use scissors or a knife and make two little holes in either top corner I'm right hand so upper right to me. Give it a min the breathe then slowly work it around with your hands. Do not open it fully without doing this or it can go/ fly everywhere. Some people are already had pictures of it being compressed so here's where I make two holes and after the bag is worked. This does weigh a pound and half.

Good for rooting new plants

Vermiculite is fine, but a 14.6 oz. is a lot less than what the photo online makes it look like.

This worked tremendously well for my indoor plants. I repotted two of them - a large one and a small one. The surprising thing is that this arrives in a flat bag!! I would recommend this product.

This is a fairly small amount for the price but packed well and arrived on time

I got the small grain size package, and it's shrink wrapped. I have a Schrödinger's cat situation here because, if I try to use it, it will get everywhere the second air gets into it. It's not in a resealable bag, and sand goes out to the edges. Hopefully it'll be good for my peppermint plant.

Delivered fast! It came in a secure vacuum packed plastic square. Fluffs up once opened. This product is easy to use! Good quality for sure. I recommend this to all plant people.
