Krasa Centy Plastic Toys Ambassador Car, Multi Color - Kids

So, i made my mind to purchase this beautiful gift for my nephew as his birthday present. Because when I was a child, my mom use to buy me centy push back cars, and I loved them. So I thought I should take my nephew to the world of scale based car toys. When it arrived my nephew really liked it, although he wasn't happy with the colour but after some time, he didn't have any problem with the colour, because he was so much into playing with this car. We received red one. I was also nostalgic when we unboxed it. It's a nicely build car, if you want to store it in your showcase for decoration, then you can definitely go for it. You can gift this toy, and it will really put a smile to receivers face. Some pros I would like to mention - it's front doors are openable. Runs smooth. Looks realistic. Very good product for decoration and giving someone as a gift. Few cons - 1. A small plastic piece stucks in Front right side door, for which the door is not closing properly. 2. Overall built is not excellent, but at this price point, i don't have any problem with it. But if you are looking for a sturdy toy car, then you should increase your budget and buy accordingly. Overall, I'm very happy with it. It gave me nostalgic feeling of my childhood, and my moments with my mom. And importantly, my nephew liked it very much. For the price of INR 170, you really cant complain much regarding the build and finishing. This is just fine for kid's playtime. However, as a collector or someone who intends to use this as display, it does leave a bit more to be desired. From afar, it looks alright but upon close inspection, you can see the imperfections that come at this price range. The paint job doesn't look right and can't sell the illusion that the car body is metal instead of plastic. The front doors can be opened but I wouldn't recommend toying with them too much since in my case, the left door was initially refusing to be closed back. Also, this specific seller on Amazon does not give you the option to choose the color of your Ambassador. I was really hoping to get either a white or green but they sent me a garishly blue colored one. The products description even states that the car is supposed to be GREEN so this is technically false advertising. Indeed this is one main reason I took out one star. But in all honesty, these are nitpicky comments. If Centy had provided the option for a more expensive collector's edition of this iconic car where these shortcomings were improves, I absolutely wouldn't mind shelling out another INR 400- 500 for that product. Plus, it would be a pleasure since this is 100% Made in India. In conclusion, you can definitely use this car for some cool photos. In the photos I provided for reference, I have posed the Centy Ambassador with a 1957 Volkswagen Beetle from an American toymaker (but manufactured in China) that cost me $12. Definitely the latter is sturdier with a much better paint job(hence the bigger price) but as you can see in these photos, the Ambassador doesn't look inferior in quality to it at all.
