Too early to tell. I purchase the mineral gel because my cat would not eat food with vitamins added. Senior cat, age 14, with CKD takes this gel without spitting it out. Since starting the gel, I've noticed Skylar's appetite has improved. Two years ago, I had to feed him with a syringe because he would not eat.
