Samsung Galaxy S25, 128GB, Silver Shadow - Unlocked (Renewed)

I almost didn’t buy this phone because of some reviews claiming it arrived locked. I’m extremely glad I went ahead with the purchase — this was one of the best Amazon Renewed experiences I’ve had. First, the phone itself is excellent quality. It looks brand new, not refurbished. No scratches, no signs of wear, strong battery life, and smooth performance right out of the box. Now, about the unlocking complaints — especially important to clarify: This phone was sent to Asia, and it was still very easily unlocked by simply following the clear directions included in the box. The paperwork inside explicitly states that you do not need to pay extra to unlock the phone and that if the device arrives locked, you should contact the company directly. I did exactly that. Their customer service was beyond helpful — quick response, simple instructions, and the phone was unlocked very fast with zero hassle. The process was straightforward and worked exactly as promised, even for international use. After going through this myself, it’s clear that many of the negative reviews come from people who: • Didn’t read the papers included in the box • Didn’t contact the seller • Or assumed the phone was permanently locked without following the provided steps If you follow the directions they give you, the process is quick, easy, and stress-free. This company clearly stands behind their product. The phone quality is outstanding, and their customer service is truly top-tier — especially impressive given that this was handled across regions. I did not find any flaws with this refurbished phone! It came in excellent condition and as far as I'm concerned, seems brand new. The shipping was faster than expected as well! I would order from this company again.

I purchased a what was advertised as an UNLOCKED Samsung Galaxy S25 in September 2025. The phone worked fine for a few months and then became locked after a software update in January 2026, just outside of the refund window. I was able to rollback the update to a previous version so that I could use the phone with a SIM card again, but after waiting over a month to update my phone I attempted to do another software update. That time, the update changed the Bit number of my phone and I was no longer able to rollback the update to a compatible older version. Realizing that my phone is useless, I reached out to the seller. They took days to actually offer a solution, and then the solution they recommended was pointless because my phone is locked in a way that is preventing me from viewing the IMEI number. I have now requested a refund, as Re-Cell should have sent me a fully UNLOCKED phone and they did not do that, but I have received the same response three times in a row now: "Thank you for reaching out. At this time, this is our recommended course of action. We appreciate your understanding regarding the out-of-warranty item." I will now be issuing a chargeback so that I can get my money returned and buy a phone that is not completely worthless.

This is the 2nd (previous was S21) "renewed " phone I have purchased in the last 5 years. I have only had his one for few days, but it looks and operates like a new phone at half the cost. Data transfer was flawless. Highly recommend!

Phone was in excellent shape upon arrival, and there were zero signs of wear. I was a bit hesitant to buy something renewed, but I'm so glad that I did. When I power the phone on it does say AT&T, but that doesn't affect it's use, and I had no issues connecting to my carrier. For less than half of the original price it's definitely worth it!

I just received my Galaxy S25 and I’m extremely pleased with it so far. I’ve only been using it for a couple of hours, but it’s working flawlessly and looks to be in excellent condition. It was packaged very securely and arrived exactly as described. I truly appreciate the care taken with shipping and presentation. Based on this experience, I would definitely purchase from this merchant again.

Phone came in subpar packaging, consisting of one layer of bubble wrap loosely in a box inside a bag, and was somethat dirty. Once I got it going and charged (was at 1% when recieved) it appears to be factory unlocked without any carrier apps installed. Overall condition does seem to be good, with no noticable marks on the display or chasis. Side note, don't use the included SIM tool, it broke inside of my old phone, and required mild butchering to get it out, so just use a paperclip instead. I'll update this if anything goes wrong.

When I bought the phone it was unlocked. After a software update from the manufacturer, the phone has become unusable. After taking to both my carrier and Samsung twice it turns out it's now locked to a carrier (Verizon). I spoke with Verizon who stated that the previous owner broke their contract so they won't be unlocking the phone. I contacted the seller who tried to tell me that it is indeed unlocked, but the software update just reverted it back to the old carrier. They sent me instructions that required downloading two different applications on to a PC, then hooking my phone to it and what not. For one thing, I don't own a PC, for another thing, when buying an unlocked phone you shouldn't have to go back in to it to "unlock" it yourself. And, this just seems like a work around. I told the owner that I was told by Samsung, my carrier, and Verizon that this phone is locked to Verizon and he "assured" me this wasn't the case. I think Verizon would know. Just be weary of buying an "unlocked" phone. It might be temporarily unlocked but a software update could have you left with a phone that's only good as a tiny tablet with no phone capabilities.
