Principles of Atmospheric Science

Fantastic Piece of Literature
This book is a fascinating work delving into our intricate atmosphere. Expecting to read only what I learned in my college level science classes, I proved to be wrong. For an in depth, easy read on the composition and structure of Earth's atmosphere as well as an interesting look at its origins, this is the book to get. It also offers a fairly comprehensive review of other physical science and environmental evaluations. I was surprised at how much I learned about weather especially, even after taking a course on meteorology 3 years ago. I consider this a must-read for anyone vaguely interested in science/Earth and certainly recommend this to friends.

Love it!
A perfect book to get yourself introduced into atmospheric sciences. I am from a different major but this book is very simply written and concise. Has all the basics, and it helped me form a good basis to eventually move on to more complicated books in the field.

Good text, but...
It is best for a beginner to have this text supplemented by a basic, introductory text in atmospheric science. That being said, I found the text to be very illuminating!!!
