It's strong and takes the weather well

I was reluctant to use a synthetic. I'm so glad I did. These are so sturdy and look great. I wouldn't install at less than 6 inch overhang and I highly recommend applying a netting of you're installing on a non solid surface Like mine. Looks great and more natural and keep the strands in place. Very happy with the outcome. Perfect shade and channels rain better than I expected! Definitely recommend even on high end projects

Great stuff! It seems to be made out of plastic that had a picture of grass and then cut to look like thatch. Worked great, looked great and will last in the outdoors.

Been wanting to turn my enclosed patio into a beach themed room. After searching for a thatching that is affordable and can withstand being out in an non climate controlled room, I came across this. I was a bit apprehensive with how it it would look and the weight. Since I was hanging it directly to a wall it had to be light enough for staple gun application. It is lightweight and looks better than expected. The material is thick enough to hang clips off for string lights without tearing. There is an odor but that goes away after a day or two. I would imagine it would hold up well to outdoor use as well. Also, it was a longer roll than anticipated which worked out. It filled the whole room.

My husband made a tiki shade window overhang with this and I love it... Looks amazing. Bought another one and did our double doors where our bar is. Now our backyard looks tropical.
