Works great! Best shampoo I’ve found so far that adds volume and hair thickness without weighting down my hair. My hair feels light and soft but with increased volume.

I started losing hair rapidly when I entered menopause. I feared I would be bald! I lost half my thick, full hair! I asked my hairdresser if there was anything to help stop the loss and restore some of my hair volume and she recommended this Actiiv shampoo and conditioner for women. It is pricey and I was hesitant, thinking it would just be another snake oil sale. But I tried it, and even though it is expensive, you only use it twice per week, so it does last a long time. It cleans my hair very well. You have to leave it on a full 5 minutes before rinsing--follow those instructions. I lather up in the shower and then let it sit on my hair while I wash everything else. Rinse and follow up with the conditioner for one minute. I cannot believe how it has changed my hair loss! I was losing too many hairs to count with every shampoo, clogging my shower drain, and then losing more when combing out my wet hair. Hundreds of hairs daily! After three uses with Actiiv, I could count the number of hairs lost--always fewer than 15. I've been using this about three months now, and I am starting to see some baby hair regrowth at this point. I don't know if I will regain all my lost hair volume but I am super encouraged to see the loss stop and a little bit returning. My scalp feels great. No bad reactions. It will burn a little if you get any in your eyes, so be careful about that.

This stuff works. I bought my first tube of this shampoo from my hair dresser. She recommended it when I went in and described that my hair was falling in what seemed like handfuls. I have waist length hair so at first I thought it just seemed like a lot because of the length, and then I realized my pony tail was less than half its previous thickness. The anxiety over losing so much hair was real!! On my hairdresser's advice, I apply this to my hair after I have shampooed once.and I leave it in at least 5 minutes.every time. Even with long hair, a quarter size dollop is enough. After the second use, I noticed a difference in the amount of hair falling. Now at the end on my first tube and three months, not only has the falling all but stopped, but I also see new hair growth and my hair thickening again. This product is worth the price! Update: After 18 months with this product, I can honestly say that I can tell a difference in hair fall any time I have gone more than four days without use. My hair continually has new growth layers. I continue to use this product. Note that it may take you a few months before you truly notice the regrowth. It'll just be wisps at first, but stopping the fall is the first step to keep your hair from thinning and this product does that.

I lost at lot of hair when I had COVID and when you have fine, thin hair it's VERY noticeable. My Nail Tech suggested this product. I've used it for a couple of months and I can see some regrowth. My hair feels thicker. A little pricey but hey! If it helps, it's worth it!

Love this shampoo! Scent is mild. Excellent quality! My hair loss has slowed way down! It leaves my hair shiny. I can go 4 days between shampooing! Yay!

I have used this before, but bought from another source. The previous one claimed that it encouraged new hair growth, where this one simply claims that it creates the look or feel of more 'volume' in the hair. I don't know if this is a knock-off, or if they may have changed their claims because it was a false claim to say that it created new hair growth. It works fine and does seem to have a volumizing effect, but for the price I would probably go with something else next time.

After brain surgery my hair stylist recommended I use this ACT IV and my hair came back very thick and fast. My scars are completely covered. I am on my second bottle. Good stuff! Lots of volume and very healthy.

Yes, I love it. It’s a bit pricey though. I can’t keep getting it for that reason.
