For me and my wife after dinner, for fun. Some dodgy questions and answers (writers lived through more than one monarch), but a nice book.

I bought this to help revision for a quiz tournament, but the questions in this sometimes veer between the trivial and the totally obscure and some questions are badly or ambiguously worded. There are more pop culture questions than I would have liked, but then that's not really the fault of the book (more me). However, I really do believe that some of the answers provided are either misleading or even incorrect. Even so, this book has proved to be a useful tool. Just don't expect it to be the last word on life, the universe and everything.

The questions are fairly varied, with a slight tendency to throw a couple of ridiculously hard questions and a few very easy ones in each 15 question quiz. It's set out clearly, with the answers at the bottom of each page, but there's a lot of empty space on the pages - you don't get as many questions for your money as you do in some other quiz books.

I'd been looking for a quiz book on Amazon for a while and thought I'd give this one a try after reading the positive reviews. I'm so glad I chose this one! The questions are really varied and original, there really is something for everyone. We took it to a family party and it kept everyone entertained for hours. The difficulty level is just right - some tricky ones mixed in with some good general knowledge and a few that most people would be able to get. All in all a great choice. Will be on the lookout for Vol 2!

Love this!Very wide range of questions, laid out in a way that means you can just open the book at any page and go. Ideal for people who just want to quiz when the mood strikes. Or to win a bet. Or to replace rock, paper, scissors.

Had to skip a few as quite hard. No a bad book but could be better.

After buying this I have won my local pub quiz two weeks in a row...suspicions have been risen that I now have to wear a disguise.A really good and fun quiz book for all the family
