This Can Truly Be Your One and Only Lens!!
If you're looking at this review, chances are, you already know what it is, what it's capable of, and what it looks like in terms of photography. It's extremely versatile, being 45mm Full Frame equivalent. Yes, sometimes I wish it was a bit wider, but only sometimes. It's perfect for landscapes, portraits, street, product, low light, star trails, you name it, it can do it. With f1.4 you can achieve good bokeh depending on how far your focus point is of course, and from f2.8 onwards the sharpness is just immaculate. My review may make you think that sharpness is poor when your aperture is wider than f2.8, but that's not the case, it's still very very good, and more than enough.I have included a few samples. Enjoy. Oh, and don't take it out in a sandy area with loads of wind. The lens mount doesn't have a gasket protecting it from dust or sand.

Sony camera + Sigma 30mm f1.4 = 💣🔥💥
A lil but of purple fringing is there, but can be corrected using lightroom or photoshop. This lens is best for potraits. Personally I use it with an APSC sensor camera. So, 30mm magnifies to 45mm (approx) its a sweet spot for low light photos, potraits, street photography & much more. For Videos also it is best for the price it comes. I use Sony Alpya a6400 with this lens. The results are attached give them a look, also check out my profile on instagram @aryndash. If you are using it for videos I would suggest to go with the Picture Profile 7 & 8 of the Sony Alpha Cameras. After color grading it would give very nice results. Stabilization is not that good. But if you have a gimbal then it would just go best with it. Auto focus is also excellent.Overall for the price of 27000 it is a good investment. I got it for 27k with a cashback of 1250 to my pay balance. I don't know if the cashback is still available. But for 27k its good. Go for it without second thought. 📷

Good but one thing
Very good lens. Specially build quality, quick focus,But I’m noticing that battery is draining fast of my ZV E10..And the weight is little on the heavier side..

Best alternative for 35mm
I purchase this as an alternative for 35mm. It’s a great lens for multi use. Autofocus motor makes noise, but it’s not an issue.

Sharpness of the image
This lens is cheap compared to other manufactures and no compromise in image quality. I took some stunning images and best decision I made over sony's 50mm prime lens.

A kit lens is not good enough. It would be best if you had prime lenses like this
A few months back, we had brought Sony Alpha 6400 with a Sony SEL18135 lens. This duo is perfect, but I was not happy with indoor light or even evening light performance. Thus after searching 10-15 days, according to my interested focal length and my budget, we ordered this lens.Build quality: 3/5We can notice some compromise with materials quality with lens, lens hood, and lens cap. But, for this price and other advantages, I won’t complain about build quality much. I would say Sigma 30 mm feels okayish with the build quality, more plastic parts than SEL18135, I guess.Sharpness: 5/5The very first shot with Sigma 30mm made me realize that there is a sharpnesses advantage with this lens as compared to Sony SEL18135, even with daylight comparison. And in the low light, Sigma with a 1.4 aperture blows comparison away.Autofocus:4/5We can say autofocus is somewhat goodish. But sometimes, it hunts. For 1-2 shots, it couldn’t focus at all. We need to rely on manual focus for those shots. It makes slight noise while focusing (compared to SEL18135, an absolute silent lens), but that wouldn’t bother you much.I observed that the camera heats up slightly with Sigma 30 mm (which may drain the battery faster will have to test properly). On the other hand, I hardly have noticed this issue with SEL18135.Overall I am happy with the lens 🥳🥳. I would like to move closer and move away with Sigma 30mm to get a good shot rather than just rotating the zoom ring of SEL18135.I have also realized that we need prime lenses to get the best out of the camera(I used to hear the same thing everywhere).Edit: earlier, I had given four stars, but updating to 5 stars.

Super magical lens
This lens is awesome. The most notable thing about this lens is it is small and solidly made with high quality materials . The provided rubber ring outside the lens is a bliss to use for focusing. Not much heavy and one can easily carry in a small camera carry bag. Though it has 1.4 aperture which means it is perfect for low light condition, but, not to get confuse that it can't be zoomed in or out because of its fixed focal length i.e. 30 mm,and it is ideal for portrait and real estate photography. So if you are a landscape photographer or wanting a lens for vlogging, this lens might not be a good choice for you because of its limition on wide angle side. Instead, you can choose the 16mm sigma over this.Overall, the bokeh effect from this lens is mind-blowing that will make you instantly fall in love. So, if budget is your prior concern, grab this or otherwise grab the 16 mm one. But both lens are perfect in their position.Cheers!
