The SO530E is probably the most versatile controller on the market and it lives up to expectations. I have two of these controllers for two zone in my kitchen. I can work each zone independently from the BanlanX app which has a few displays that can be tweaked for a PWM strip. The setup is flawless as long as you follow the instructions carefully. The execution is a delight: straightforward and simple.

Works well and easily connects to Alexa. You can control many features of supported LED strings like color and brightness with voice. Supports both WiFi and Bluetooth.

The setup turned out great. The LEDs are white-tunable and RGB. The controller supports individually addressable LEDs, which allows for some great animations. And the transition between colors is very smooth! Configuring the lights was tricky, and took me several attempts to work it out. For the LEDs referenced below, I've provided the configuration that works. Connecting to Alexa was straightforward when you follow the directions, but not intuitive if you try to figure it out on your own. I've had four of these for a little over half a year. I control them through google home, and they frequently loose connection. Less frequently, they (one at a time) will spontaneously turn their LED strips on or off. Other than that, they're easy to set up and easy to use.
