Great equipment - Great company
I’ve been training for 42 years. This is a great piece of equipment, the simplicity is the genius in the engineering, the different exercise yo can do is endless. The construction is solid. I can push myself to failure safely. I am re motivated to be more consistent and intense with my training… and the price is really…. Unbelievable compared to competitors.I need to mention their customer service and support is the best. During the assembly process I threaded the cable wrong. ( believe me it was a stupid mistake) the assembly is easy… however I wrote to the company telling the cable was damaged… no questions asked I was shipped a new one within two days.So I’m very pleased with the investment I made in myself

Great design, phenomenal customer service
I have used several Lever Gyms. In looking closely at this product I can say, for the price point, there is nothing bettter on the market. There is another lever gym on the market that is over twice the price and the both are comparable. The designs are almost the same with some minor differences where the stop pins seat in the unit. I much prefer this design with the holes integrated in the structure itself. Very durable and strong. My Son in Law put 400lbs on the lever arms and benched pressed with no movement of the unit. When squatting heavy weights I would recommend putting weights on the storage pins or on the pull down arms. Perfect until for any type of weight lifting you need. The row foot plate is a great addition and flips up and down as needed. If you are looking for a Lever Gym, stop here and buy this unit. Between the design and 5 Star customer service, you will have years of enjoyment.

Great value for a leverage gym
I've had this leverage gym bench combo for about a month and a half now and wanted to get some hands-on experience prior to posting a review. The good: The gym itself is relatively easy to assemble, much easier than a couple of others I've put together in the past. There are a TON of exercises you can do with this machine! Movements are extremely smooth and work well with my body (I'm 6'2" with long arms). The pins for setting the stopping position of movements allow for safe lifting without a spotter. I personally have no problem getting a great workout with this machine and look forward to using it!I'd also like to mention that the response time from GMWD for customer service is excellent and when I had a minor issue with the cable a replacement arrived within 48 hours for free. For the $1000 that I paid for the gym/bench combo, I feel like I got every dollar worth and then some! The bad: As another reviewer mentioned, the set up for squats with this machine is a little concerning. There is no easy way to start in a full upright position unassisted with this machine, you have to lift from the bottom of the movement. The squat bar feels reasonably sturdy when attached and property tightened, but I definitely share concerns with the safety and design of the setup. I will likely be purchasing a separate squat machine in the future.I also find that the machine moves slightly forward at the middle when using the lat pull down. My best guess is that the metal had to be cut there (please see photo) in order to keep the shipping costs down. If this had never been cut or if red support beams wrapped around the area completely instead of partially covering, it may prevent the movement. It does not move enough that it is a major issue or has me concerned about the longevity of the machine, just something I noticed.Verdict: I am completely happy with my purchase and the service from GWMD! For the money, this is definitely a great option for anyone looking to build a home gym with the goal of lifting weights as a part of a balanced overall exercise program.

Excellent product!
Very good product. Solid, operates well.Be aware that it takes up more space than you think because of the weight horns on the side and because the low cable weights extend backward when used. You need it about a foot away from the back wall and you need extra room on the side to get the plates on and off. So you need at least 66” of space front to back and side to side, 66 square inches minimum.Be aware that the lever arms are NOT interchangeable. The weight horn will tilt downward if you put the levers on the wrong side. You can tell by lying the arm flat on the floor and making sure that the horn is tilted upward - that is the proper orientation. The arms are hard to get all the way on. I had to pound them with a mallet. Also, I added some padding to the underside of the arms so they don’t slam down metal-on-metal during use. Also, it is difficult to tell from the instructions how to run the cable, but it does run down inside the middle pole before it comes out of the bottom.Lastly, the weight calculation of the lever arms is not initially clear. I used a scale on the bench to weigh the arms after putting them on. They are about 8 pounds each. I also weighed myself with and without different weight on the lever arms. I concluded that the proper calculation is: plate weight x .75 plus 16 lbs for the arms. So, for example, 100 lbs of plates equals 91 lbs (100x.75 + 16). I still don’t know what the low cable weight actually is, but it does seem more than 50%, probably between 65-75%.

This thing is awesome!
So many different exercises in one compact machine! It sits in the corner of my basement with plenty of room to use it and I use it A LOT! I can't even begin to mention all the different exercises and lifts you can perform with it. Functional is an understatement. You can get a full body workout, as heavy or as light as you want, and it's easy to switch/adjust to go from one exercise to the next. I highly recommend this for anyone with a home gym, or anyone that wants to have something they can use on those days they can't get to the gym. BUY THIS! You won't regret it.
