After installation, it is working OK. To connect the mains cable, I needed to cut off the 13A plug on the pump and, via an IP68 connector to join it to the existing supply cable. Where I had a problem was that the new pump cable wire colours were green, white and black. So if you cut off the 13A plug, you need to translate the USA/Canadian colours to the UK wiring convention.
