I had an extremely physical job and recently took a less physical position and wanted to still (semi) challenge my body. I'm no sissy so I bought the 5 pounders. The weight is not an issue. However, I am usually in small, awkward spaces and they are super bulky and I decided I couldn't wear those to work as eventually they're going to get caught on something (already happened) and I will fall flat on my face and have to fill out a workman's comp file that will be embarrassing and lengthy. So I bought the 3 pounders. They're perfect and I wear them every day. After 8+ hours they tend to start chaffing the backs of my ankles (I wear ankle socks and I hate high top socks with a passion!!!!)
