When you need the best pc on the market.....
I've been using this - Intel Core Ultra 9 Series 2, RTX 5090, 64 GB RAM - for six months, and I'm very pleased and impressed by the performance and build quality. I use it for running local instances of Stable Diffusion, Stable Video Infinity, Da Vinci Studio, and Topaz Video suite. Where this pc becomes indispensable is in running Topaz's Starlight diffusion-based generative AI enhancement of video files. The result is stunning - comparable to the 'wow' factor one gets when seeing image enhancements of old photos for the first time. Since I'm upgrading full-length videos, this takes a long time even with this pc, and any pc with a lesser performance would be hopeless, as it would probably take a week's continuous running to upgrade an hour long video. You get what you pay for. All I want now is a pc with ten times the performance at a tenth of the power consumption.

Expensive and poor quality.
Noisy, excessively heavy and large and poor performance, feels like a cheap self build system, I was offered to keep this for 4k but despite that being a great deal in 2026 I still returned as it was vibrating my whole desk due to cheap noisy fans.

Great PC wish they put more effort into accessories and welcome pack!
As a games development PC it is fast and does the job running Unreal Engine 5 and looks great, games always play at Ultra Max settings. My only gripe is for the price they could have included a branded Keyboard and Mouse, a proper welcome pack which shows their appreciation for buying. The box packaging looks great but very difficult to open without tools by hand. Also it is very heavy I had a struggle getting it through the door and dead lifting (like a small persons dead weight) it up the stairs they should put some handles higher on the packaging in anticipation that you will need to carry it upstairs. Some friends said I could get the same specs cheaper elsewear but I just liked the brand and was willing to go with it I guess.

More than perfect!
The Alienware Area-51 is a boat of a PC. You should probably get a friend to help lift this 76.1-pound system out of the box. The Alienware Command Center allows for top-end gaming performance without the noise levels you might normally expect from a powerful gaming PC. The previous Review can be smashed with this response : Well, not everyone can afford it. That doesn't give you the right for a 1 star review.

Absolute power house, I’d have two if I could afford two,
I don’t currently own this desktop, but after spending a lot of time researching high-end gaming and performance PCs, this is genuinely one of the most impressive systems I’ve come across and is firmly on my wish list. The specification alone puts this at the absolute top tier. The Intel Core Ultra 9 Series 2 paired with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 suggests outstanding performance for modern AAA gaming, ray tracing, VR, AI workloads, and content creation. This setup looks more than capable of handling anything available now — and likely for years to come. The inclusion of 64GB of RAM and a massive 4TB SSD is particularly appealing, removing the need for immediate upgrades and making it ideal for heavy multitasking, large game libraries, and professional workloads. The liquid-cooled CPU should also help maintain stable thermals and performance under sustained load, which is crucial at this level. Alienware’s Area-51 chassis and AlienFX lighting in the Lunar finish look both premium and iconic, and Alienware generally has a strong reputation for build quality, cooling design, and system optimisation. For users who want a powerful, pre-built system without the hassle of custom building, this appears to be a very polished option. The main consideration is clearly the price, which places this firmly in the enthusiast category. That said, for buyers seeking cutting-edge performance, premium design, and a future-proof desktop, the cost seems consistent with the hardware on offer. Overall, while I don’t own this system yet, based on the specifications, design, and Alienware’s track record, this looks like an exceptional high-end gaming desktop that I would be excited to use.
