Absolutely delicious - I hope they never change their recipe! They have a proper bite to them which makes you feel like you're eating more than you are. The toughness really is so satisfying and the flavour is incredible. You won't feel like you're missing out on animal jerky.

I love these. Relatively clean ingredients for what they are - an essential for me as an emergency protein snack especially when travelling. In a lot of countries it can be hard to source the protein you need while eating a plant based diet. In Morocco I ate these often as a top up and in Thailand when I was training Muay Thai twice a day. Taste and texture are satisfying - I'm a fan of most flavours and my children try to steal them too. They are not super cheap and I prefer to eat whole foods so I don't eat them on the daily but they are a fantastic option when caught out or too busy to focus on a high protein meal.

Unfortunately these were very tough, did not taste right - until I realised they were send to me after the expired date.

Lovely flavour and great texture. Very small for what you are paying. If price came down I'd purchase again

It tastes... ok. Not the best teriyaki flavour I've had, but it's bearable, although it has al almost fishy undertaste. But texture wise I was expecting something far more substantial, in line with something like kings veggie jerky. This stuff has that vague fibrous quality similar to meat but feels almost like a dense cotton candy. It needs more chew and toughness imo, as it stands it's less of a jerky and more of a vaguely meat-like snack thing

These are wonderful. Not gonna lie, the first bite my first world sass kicked in and said: "these are really sweet," and I was going through buyer's remorse for all of ten seconds before more spices released, I started to fall in love with the texture, and only have three left less than a week after receiving twelve...

Beyond disappointing. First of all, I ordered Teriyaki. The product that arrived and I tried to eat said "Teriyaki." The taste was anything but teriyaki. It tasted completely unflavored. All that I could taste was a faint nut/seed flavor with the faintest hint of mushroom. Not what I expected from a soy based product labeled "Teriyaki." The texture was disappointing as well. It was randomly sticky, dense, and overly chewy. It's hard to compare it to anything else. Definitely nowhere near the texture of beef/turkey jerky. Even further from any other vegan jerky I've tried. It's certainly not similar to tempeh, seitan, or firm tofu. Unfortunately, the closest thing I can think of would be boiled leather. The sad thing is that I'm not picky. I absolutely LOVE every other vegan jerky that I've tried, and I've tried a lot. Many are different from each other, but I appreciate variety. I especially like teriyaki flavored vegan jerky. This though... just... NO! Lastly, remember, this is a non-returnable item. Trust me, I looked. To be honest, I didn't look to see if it was returnable prior to purchasing. That's my fault. Still, this was so bad, I considered reporting it to Amazon. Instead, I decided to just write an honest review to warn others and move on.

Soooooo good! I used to love beef jerky years ago before I became vegan and ended up seeing these while searching for snacks for my hospital bag (38 weeks pregnant).. and they are seriously so good! I feel weird saying that they taste just like animal beef because that really grosses me out but knowing they are totally vegan eases my mind and makes me want them that much more! good job to whoever made these!

I had this product a long while back, and I remember it being very tasty. However, I've since developed a peanut allergy. That's where the "but" comes in... There is a peanut flavor Primal Strip, but nowhere on the packaging does the company warn that it's made on the same equipment; I had already ordered and received the item when a friend told me it was. I contacted the company. It is in fact made on the same equipment. The product is great, but if you're very sensitive to peanuts, be careful.
