If you had 2 or more childen laying with the sandbox, I would purchase another bag. It will hold 100lbs total. **Q: Does the lid lock?** A: No it sits down on it but does not lock **Q: The product listings liss the size to be 61.7 x 47 x 13. Is this with the lid on or connected to the box** A: I think its with the lid extension. The box itself is a square. Its not designed for a child to get into and play but rather play on the outside with the sand. I hope that makes sense :p **Q: Would this work with kinetic sand?** A: I have Kinetic sand in mine because ours is in the house. The excavator doesn't really pick up the sand because the sand is too heavy. We have had this for 3 years now, i have 7 kids and its been outside the whole time and its not broken at all. The base, lid and main digger thats attached are still all in one peice and not even cracked. We have used it with sand and also water. Its taken plenty of abuse.
