Perfect fit
Repaired my Magma boat bbq. The original burner had fallen apart so I replaced it with this burner and it works like new.

Trick to Removing Old Burner
Before buying this I tried to remove the old burner: I hammered, sprayed on various lubricants, heated with a blow torch, hammered some more, more lubricant, tried cutting with a Dremel, all without success. But along the way I demolished the top of the old burner and saw that a bit of the threaded center tube protruded from the base of the old burner. There was enough thread for a new burner to attach. So, cutting and grinding with a Dremel I removed all of the top elements of the old burner so that a new one could fit flush on top of the old base. Voila. The replacement burner screwed on easily. I fired it up and it burns fine. Now, for my next trick, I'm gonna cook 2 dozen wings at one time on it using the Vertigrille - https://www.amazon.com/VertiGrille-Skewer-Rack-Vegetable-Stainless/dp/B07CZW2K31

Not easy, but the quality is there.
So, my decade old A10-217/207 was begging for a refresh in the way of a new burner, radiant plate and dome and grill. I figured replacing the burner was not going to be easy after reading some other reviews. I considered just buying a new one, but at $330 before tax and shipping, the $120 delivered for OEM parts that would give it another decade was hard to pass up. These parts take the most beating from the heat. Of course, the plate and grill are nothing to replace, but that burner is murder. The burner is also needed for the piezo ignition to work and it crapped out about two years ago, which should give you an idea of how I have abused this thing. That said, the steaks it cooks are just out of this world. I digress. The key to replacing the burner is Kroil. I put some on the threads and after lunch was able to tap the base of the old burner enough to remove it. Now a bit of clean-up and she'll be ready for another decade of barbecue!

Great quality replacement part
Replaced totally corroded and poorly functioning burner on a 30 year old bbq. One of the support tabs for the heat disburser was broken off and lost so I fabricated one out of stained strap. What was left of the old burner came off after a 24 hour application of penetrating oil. Works like new. All other components are fine. Magma makes a outstanding product.

Great original part
Original product great quality. Super heavy duty. Which also means removing the old one is difficult. You will not be able to screw the old one off but give it a try you never know. I sprayed with Wd40 and let it sit for a day and it was just fused on. Used a Dremel with a carbon fiber cut off wheel. Cut from the outer edge towards the inside as close as you can get to the threads. Ideally don’t cut in to the threads but even if you did the new one will still go on. Once you get as close to the threads as you can. Take a heavy duty flat head screw driver and start prying back and forth. Eventually you will spread apart the metal far enough for it to unfuse from the threads. Brush the threads clean with a metal brush and screw on the new unit. Mine lasted around 10 years mostly uncovered on my boat.

Works great
Old one saw too much salty air. This one screwed in and worked great!

Perfect replacement but...
This was a perfect replacement burner for my 2 year old, constantly covered, protected and well-cared for but rusted out unit. Every replacement part this company sells is over-priced and not indicative of the product quality . In two years, I've already had to replace the inside deflector and now the burner at a cost that almost approaches complete replacement of the grill.

Conforme à mes attentes. Fonctionne parfaitement

You have to use a cutting wheel to remove the old gas burner. Then use a screwdriver to bend it open enough to loosen the part from the gas fitting. New one went on in a snap! Hamburgers 30 min .later
