The package says it is 100% coffee. There is nothing written about being decaffeinated.

It appears to be. I was happy with the purchase and it being used in the recipe I used it for.

Why do sellers send glass items in envelopes?

I personally don’t send glass items in envelopes. All sellers are different and if shipped by Amazon the seller has no control over how an item is shipped.
