This made it very easy to lock up my scooter

Great lock as no one has stolen my bike yet.

My first impressions was that I was hoping for something a little sleeker. It's a cable lock, so it's not going to be beautiful, but it feels a bit thick and bulky. I got it thinking about my oldest son heading off to college and leaving his scooter at school, and for THAT purpose it feels quite secure. The length is good, giving you options for attaching it to just about anything. Setting the combination was easy, although I always write down these things because I'm terrible with numbers. The bracket is a nice addition, but it does make the whole thing a little clunky when attached to the handlebars. It's not the most elegant solution, but it does the job. Overall, it gives me some confidence that his scooter will be safe, and that's really what matters. I'm not sure I'd use this for daily commutes, but for longer-term security, it's good enough.

Fantastic bike lock for our E bikes. The first thing that attracted me to this was a fact that it is over 5 feet long. Most locks of this type are only 3-4 foot long and so they will only handle one bike typically. This one, we can have just one lock for my wife and myself on some of our rides. The fact that you can reset the combination is a definite, plus as we have all learned how to memorize passwords in today’s society. I did think there was going to be a bit of an issue with it as I first set the combination. Did not want to slide in and out easily, but after several times of opening and closing it, it smoothed right out. Not sure if there was maybe some flash somewhere or one of the gears was just not fully engaged for a few cycles, but this disappeared and has not showed up again. you can throw this in your back bag or put it on the supplied mount on your seat poster or handlebar. Fantastic find at the price point. I would definitely recommend this. Especially if you want to lock a couple of bikes at the same time with one lock. Five stars.

This lock works really well, but the holder did not fit on my son scooter because the grip goes right up to the center part of the scooter. Maybe double check that your scooter has a space for the holder to attach before buying. My son usually just puts it on the handle of his scooter when he needs it.

My daughter uses this to lock up her (inexpensive) e-bike at school. This is a good deterrent, but it isn't a large chain and padlock - so some bolt cutters could make some quick work if someone wanted to, so this device isn't recommended for locking up more valuable bikes, scooters, etc. That being said, a locked bike is more secure than an unlocked bike - so this does the trick in an area where there is an average chance of a stolen bike. The combination lock is great because you don't have to worry about forgetting a key somewhere. It has a storage loop that was easily installed on the bike frame. It is looped and seems to hold it's form pretty well, but we use a velcro cable tie as an extra measure to keep it from potentially getting in the way.

It is extremely well built and I’m sure would be very reliable, but unfortunately it was too heavy for my wife too handle as she’s not as strong as she used to be. But if you’re physically able, I would not hesitate to purchase this scooter!

Current price point at the time/date of this review: $29.99 with no discount/coupon being offered. Pricing is overall reasonable and fair given the length and overall quality. I like that it comes with a click in mounted holster and generally performs adequately and as you should otherwise expect. Marketed for e-scooters but likely you can get this to fit somewhere on a bike too assuming a right sized fit with the base, otherwise the cable lock is adequate for most bicycles especially given the length and “beefy” construction and overall material and design. Comes in a fairly typical and common look which is perfectly fine. Thick and beefy steel cabling and runs a good distance. The combination lock is fair and works as intended, about average in build quality and design. Like most other similar type units the combination can be adjusted after opening the lock first as a security measure since if you know the password then you should have the right to change it. Customizable combination based on the number digits, don’t settle for less. Easy to work with and use. I have it installed on my e-scooter which wasn’t so difficult at all. However, as stated already, it’s a little beefier than initially expected and so having it hang from the handlebar is a bit awkward to deal with. I think it might be possible to install it on the thicker stem and with zip ties if the screw isn’t long enough to accommodate the thickness. However, I’m going to try working with it on the handlebars first. Overall a decent lock set.

The included mounting bracket is a nice touch, I easily affixed it beneath my bicycle seat, a much better spot than the handlebars. This lock certainly gets the job done for my bike. While there might be more premium options, this stands as an effective deterrent at an excellent price, proving its worth.
