We may even use it in Winter with a throw if needed, as we don't like too much weight. It certainly has enough warmth at present. The fabric is smooth and not that rough stiff feel. I've gone from favouring 15 tog down duvets to this lightweight one. Now back in an old cold house I'm amazed to find that this duvet is all I sleep under all year round and it keeps me at a perfect ambient temperature. I would like these duvets to be manufactured in different colours since I find the no duvet cover option disappointing. It's no use in an ordinary duvet cover. It does wash well and I've tumble dried mine without incident. I found it more pliable after a first wash but due to the stitching pattern there's no movement of filling. It is expensive compared to higher tog duvet brands of similar components however, it's better made in my opinion. Pleased I found this.
