The media could not be loaded. I wanted to keep it cause it's so darn cute! but I got it as a gift for the conductor, who I worked with on my school's production of The Magic Flute. He loved it. He kept playing it.

My granddaughter and my daughter were both entranced...found this first at a museum store but didn't pick it up...glad that I found it on line, because it is both sweet and affordable...everyone should have one...

Box is cardboard
The box enclosing this music player is made of flimsy paper/ cardboard, unlike similar wood music boxes. Yet, it’s priced higher than others that have sturdy outer casings. Magic flute isn’t an easy option to track down, but I’d recommend purchasing a wood box that will fit the music player and drilling a hole in the side to access the crank feature. Orrrr loook on Etsy.

Excellent and sweet little music box
This is well made for the price just don't be too rough with it. Very nice tone and lever is easy to turn.

Zauberhaft
Die Spieluhr ist zauberhaft! Gespielt wird die Melodie des Glockenspiels von Papageno. Während des Klangs dieser Melodie werden Menschen und Tiere (zumindest in der Oper) augenblicklich friedvoll. Könnten wir gerade auch im richtigen Leben gut gebrauchen!Sehr nett verarbeitet.

Was ist das?
Hallo,das Lied, das aus der Spieluhr erklingt, ist alles andere als das Lied des Papageno "Der Vogelfänger bin ich ja".Ich bezweifle sogar, dass diese Melodie überhaupt aus der "Zauberflöte" stammt.Mist!
