Can I use Microsoft word to create a document and formatting?

No, you can not use Microsoft Word to operate the Robot plotter. You can use most vector based drawing programs, but they will need output reformatting to work. This machine was designed to use Inkscape Drawing program. It is freeware and does support most other formats for conversion. It does have a built in word program for writing .
