Works just as good as the OEM, at a fraction of the price of the OEM unit. Don't forget diff oil as you will lose some during removal of the old one.

Installed, worked great for the first couple of engagements and then failed doing exactly what the original did. Save your time and money.

Cured my 4wd flashing light on 2019 Ram 1500. Easy replacement - jacked up passenger tire and put jack stand under. Loosen the wire harness clamp first one back from plug (the lock tab is on top, so don't even mess with this until you remove unit). By jacking I also only lost about a tbsp of oil. Push the plug end up and angle toward top of passenger tire. Wiggle a little and it will come out. Now clean with brake cleaner or other and release lock tab and unplug. From here just reverse.

Works as it should for half the price

Item fit and worked just fine. The packaging was virtually non-existent. The part came loose in a cardboard box with no protective wrapping foam or anything of the sort. It had poked through the side of the box but fortunately nothing appeared to be damaged. It is much lighter duty than the OEM part. Fortunately it's only a half hour or so change, so if this one fails I'll go with a more sturdy one next time. In in

Easy to replace and fits perfect. When replacing this item I found it best to only jack up the passenger side of the vehicle so that the oil in the axle shifts to the driver side and you don’t lose very much gear oil when removing the old one.Unfortunately my issue was with the transfer case actuator/shifter so I replaced both and it cured my problem of the 4x4 system trying to engage on its own.

Ram 1500 2019 laramie sport 4x4 hemi 5.7, a few months ago the check engine come up with other guys, service 4WD, service electronic stability control and these codes were displayed, U0418, U1440 , U0403-00, U0415-00 and U1003-00. but the strange thing about all this is that when I put the truck in 4x4 auto or high and drove it like that for a while all the lights went out, I checked all the harnesses and wiring and everything was normal, so the first thing I changed was the ABS module and nothing, so I took it to the dealer for a diagnosis and they told me that it was the transfer case motor that was out of range if not the Transfer case module I changed the motor and the position sensor and guess what, again everything stayed the same. After a lot of research I decided check the 4x4 actuator.. and that was the problem, the actuator was stuck in out position, so only when I put in 4x4 all modules see it in the right position. A real headache, and the dealers guys with all they specialized tools can't notice that. So i change the actuator and now is all back to normal.. i hope this can help someone else...

Perfect fit! Right now I'm always driving in 4W Auto and I never feel it engage. Works great.

Se lo instale una semana despues de que me llego, el mecanico me advirtio q esta pieza era china y q no garantiazba el funcionamiento. Aun asi le dije que la instalara bajo mi riesgo, pues bien despues de menos de un mes dejo de funcionar. Ahora tengo que comprar la refaccion original marca mopar, q cuesta el doble y tengo que pagar mano de obra extra. No lo recomiento.

The product is very good quality. Was exactly what was offered. The fit was perfect and just as good as OEM. The only complaint was that the product was guaranteed with a 2 day prime delivery and to ari e on Saturday . I ordered on a Thursday but it was not delivered till the Wednesday of the following week.
