Hydration belt?? What hydration belt??
I've done several 10+ mile runs with this belt and usually forget I'm even wearing it. The only time I remember is when I feel thirsty and say to myself, "Geez, I could really use a drink...I wish I brought a hydration belt with me." Then I look down and am pleasantly surprised by the beautiful sight. It's incredibly comfortable and the bottles sit at a perfect angle to avoid my elbows from hitting them. I'll admit, I actually wear it backwards because I prefer to have the pouch in the back. This does make it slightly harder to put the bottles back in the holder, but I've gotten used to it. If you wear it like a normal person, you'll have no problem with that. The holders have just enough tension to keep the bottles in place without jiggle, but not so much that they're impossible to replace with one hand. And the belt sits perfectly on the hips without shifting during long runs. I'm a slender male without too many curves, so that hasn't been an issue, but I think it would be just as good for a shapely woman. The pouch is really the perfect size. I can fit my iPhone 6 in there with some room to spare for gels and keys. I think an iPhone 6 Plus would probably fit in there too, but it might be a little tight, especially if you have to pull it out during the run. I'm not one to chat on the phone while running, so it's a non issue for me. I do however connect headphones to my iPhone for music. The pouch doesn't have an opening for the headphones, but if you leave the zipper open for less than a centimeter, it's not a problem. The water bottles are exactly the size I like. They are not too big, yet they have just enough to keep me hydrated for a half marathon or so. And the water doesn't have that plastic taste that other bottles have. No leak from the caps either. This is actually the second one I bought. Unfortunately my last pair is missing in action after a reorganizing of our home. I'm sure it will turn up at some point...but I just can't do without it so I bought a second one. The first will be exclusively my wife's if we ever find it. For now, I carry the water, and she shares with me when we run together. And yes, the bottles carry enough for both of us on 10+ mile runs.I don't run in the dark, however the belt has a few little reflective accents, for those who are interested.Pros:Incredibly comfortableGreat size of bottles without leakGood size pouch...not too big, not too smallCons:Couldn't be happier (Wait...is that a Pro or a Con)I highly recommend this product.

Comfortable, easy to use, nice storage pocket
So far I really love this running belt. I am using it for longer distances like 10 miles when I'd like to stay hydrated, but don't need as much as a backpack system would hold. In the front pocket, I can fit my iPhone 5, credit card and ID, car key fob, a full pack of energy chews (specifically the Clif Shot Bloks that are in a package shaped like a candy bar, but I think a square package would fit too), and ear buds. It's a little tight, but I put everything in the order I would want to take it back out and haven't had any issues. As instructed, I keep the belt pretty low on my hips and haven't had any issues with my arms/hands hitting it while running. I agree that it's a little hard to put the bottles back into the holders. They suggest that you put a finger between the bottle and the elastic when putting it back in its place. That was still a little hard for me so I just use one hand to pull out the elastic and the other hand to slip it in. It's definitely getting easier over time. I do intervals on my long runs so it's easy enough to plan to drink water on the walking portions. I can remove the bottle, have a few sips, and get it back into place in less than 30 seconds.A tip in case you haven't run with a hydration belt before that I didn't think of on my own because I was just excited to start using it: when you are adjusting the fit of the belt to fit your hips, either make it a little tighter than seems necessary or try it out at home when the water bottles were filled up. I tightened it to fit as soon as it came in the mail, but when I went out to actually use it the first time, I realized that the water weighs it down quite a bit. It was easier to adjust the belt before the water bottles were in place. I got used to the extra weight pretty quickly on my run and tried to drink water from alternating sides so the weight was balanced.I'm glad I got this belt and look forward to using it on my longer runs. It's a great low cost option and it's comfortable.

Hydration Belt with Pouch review - works well!
I have tried this belt now on two types of runs. A short 3 mile run and a longer 6.5 mile run. I am an older female, short-waisted, with full hips. I do a run / walk / run pattern and am not a fast runner. I gave it 4 starts instead of 5 because the bottles are a tad intrusive when walking, but for running it is great! For walking the bottles would need to be off the sides. It would almost be better to have the pouch on the sides and bottles in the back, but overall, this is a great belt for my style of training. The belt does fit at the hips and stays there with no bouncing. At first I had it over my shirt tails. The belt rode up. Then I put it just on my shorts and it stayed in place. I had no problem with my arms hitting the bottles while running though I did keep the bottle tops towards my body without trying them the other way. When walking I have to swing my arms a little outward to avoid the bottles but it is not uncomfortable. One of the bottles leaked the first run I did. I took the cap off and reseated it and the leak stopped. It was OK on the second run with no leaks but I took care to check and make sure I had put the tops on properly.I had no problem getting the bottles in and out while running but I do a lot of walk breaks and it is easy to access items while I am walking. I am not a fast runner so I can’t address if the belt works well while moving quickly. My fastest pace with it was 11:00. Also, the pouch holds my phone with no problem, as well as a set of Shot blocks, with room to spare. This was important to me because I might need to change my phone and upgrade phones are sometimes larger.I am glad this belt met my distance running needs, since I am training for a marathon for fall. I will need to get in some long training runs and needed something to hold not only water but my phone. Arm bands bother me, so I don’t use them. I highly recommend this belt.
