I've recently gotten on the silicone bandwagon. I bought silicone hot pads and mitts and put them on the side of the fridge on the stick em up hooks the old hot pads were on. That didn't work. Every day, I'd come home from work and sure enough the mitts were one the floor along with the hook. I looked at the store for suitable hooks but they were either ugly, cheap or chrome. I didn't want chrome. When I looked on Amazon, these were the only ones that suited my needs. I only needed 2 hooks. One for the pads and one for the mitts. Not 6, 9 or 12. They had to be black (I have a black fridge), and they needed to hold the heavy pads and mitts on a textured surface. Initially, I thought it was outrageous to spend $5 per hook but I really do love them and I think their worth every penny. They're quite substantial and high quality. It does have a logo that's not pictured in the listing but I'm not bothered by it as some of the reviewers are.

This was the only hook I found on Amazon whose back is coated with a substance that won't scratch. I used my previous fridge magnets to hang hand-towels and they occasionally got dragged across the fridge when the towel got pulled hard, leaving scratches. The new hook has a stronger magnet and hasn't moved at all yet, but even if it does, it won't scratch due to its coating. I highly recommend it.

My latest grill came without utensil hooks so I was looking for some magnetic hooks that were powerful enough to firmly stick to an uneven surface and that would closely match the color of my grill. These were perfect. I have large heavy duty utensils so the hooks needed to be able to hold them when hung vertically. Very happy with this product.

Opted for these for my new Traeger Pro 575 since it has NO hooks for utensils. I bought the front shelf but still not the best for keeping the standard tongs, spatula, grill brush, rag or mats. Have not cooked with them but was pleased by the design and color. Matches grill perfectly.The plastic material they are made of with paper backing does not give much hope for "years and years" of use. Looks like the paper backing will fall off very quickly so I don't recommend moving them much. I plan on keeping them where I placed them. The magnets seem to hold them very well and takes some effort to slide them to where you want them mounted. The magnets are strong enough that once the paper wears out or falls off the magnets will certainly scratch the grill surface if you plan on sliding them around.Value fo the money is kind of subjective. I'm a brand person and will buy Weber and Traeger accessories. I draw the line with the Traeger branded hooks at almost 3x the price of these. Read the reviews and they didn't seem very good. To be honest these don't seem like $5.50 hooks.

I purchased these hooks for use on a cruise. Walls of cruise cabins are metal and therefore magnets work well on them. They adhered well and were easy to remove. Cruise cabins are small and storage is very limited; so the ability to hang frequently used items such as: bathrobes, hats, backpacks beach towels etc, leaves drawer/closet space for other items. Unlike cheaper magnets, they are durable and strong enough to hold most travel items. They are small and light weight enough to pack into the corner of your suitcase or travel bag so bringing them along was no problem.I deducted 1 star because one of the back covers came off, forcing the magnet to slide down the wall. Once home, I super glued it back on and that seemed to do the trick.

I bought these hooks to use for the grill and the refrigerator and they are super durable and have lasted years. I use one on the side of the fridge to hold a hand towel. We also use one for the grill. I mounted it on the inside of the bottom grill cabinet door to hang the grill cleaner/scraper. The magnetic hook on the grill outside has withstood all temperatures (we live in Illinois). Placing it on the inside of the grill cabinet door seemed to ensure the grill heat would not affect it. I just bought another set for my daughter for her new home. I highly recommend them.

I got these magnets to hang a hand towel on the side of our washing machine next to our laundry sink and it is no joke, you could probably hang a heavy winter coat on this, the magnet is that strong. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a sturdy, strong magnetized hook.

I use these on my refrigerator to hang oven mitts. I had a smaller set of magnetic hooks, but they had this habit of slowly sliding down the refrigerator. It would scare my girlfriend every once in a while ... out of the corner of her eye it would look like a raccoon or something crawling around the kitchen. Anyway, these bigger hooks are much stronger and stay. in. place. I only wish they came in other colors besides black.If it matters to you, I use these on a white, textured fridge, and they work great. The magnets are strong, but not freakishly strong that you can lift the fridge off the floor or anything like that. It takes just a tiny bit of effort to remove them.
