I got the tan color and the fabric is soft and seems durable. I got this for my small dog 9lbs.She didn’t notice it at first, but finally found her way inside by the end of the day. She had been squeezing under my recliner chair and doesn’t seem safe, so I purchased this in hopes to detour her to a new hiding and cozy spot. This is her new den! I do recommend this product.

I have 2 kitties: A large, floofy tuxedo named Piper, and a small, sleek black cat named Dobby. Although Piper is the more senior of the two, she is "sensitive," and she cowers before little Dobby, who thinks wrestling would be a good idea. He is endlessly jumping on her to play, and poor Piper is not amused. She Wants To Be Alone.So I bought her this little house. It is fully Piper-approved! My very picky, sensitive girl was in it as soon as I unpacked it. (It did help that I rubbed it down with catnip, so she was stoned.) She drooled a little and happily went to sleep, safe from Dobby's play.The thing is, this house is sturdy. He can't collapse it on her like the last one I bought. It's plenty big enough for my 16 pound floofmobile to get herself inside it, but not so small that she is too smushed to enjoy it.And the black leather-like outside of it is kind of attractive. I'm pleased. Piper will be pleased when she wakes up from her catnip-induced high. Dobby is currently sleeping on the top of it, as always, King of the Hill.

I bought the black one in April of ‘21, I have a cat whose chunky, and also has arthritis that’s recently affected her jumps. I came looking for some stable, the stairs look to small for her to use and I’m limited on space. Then it finally clicked to look up this one last year, and I am so glad I remembered it, the price is even cheaper, but it looks the same and I’ll be ordering it tomorrow for my arthritic girl. Nice sturdy but padded top, she’s comfortable with it, and I won’t have to watch her miss her jumps. Definitely recommend, easy to clean as well.

We didn't get ours for the cat or as a bed or hidey house, but as a toy box of sorts for our Shih Tzu boy. He loves his toys and they are always everywhere, so I got this instead of an open top box or bin: I can use it as footstool while watching TV at night and he can still access his many toys through the little opening. At bedtime I take off the lid and VOILA! all toys go back in for him to pick out of the little door again the next day. Like all cardboard ottomans you can't be rough with it but it is working nicely for us now!

We were looking for something that we could put in front of our cats' favorite window in our kitchen and we're having a hard time finding anything that was the right height and size. So I had the idea to get two of these and stack them up in that spot. They work great there and our cats love being able to see out the window and i love not having our kitchen stool having to be pushed up against the window anymore. Our younger cat likes being able to hide inside them if he wants to. Overall they work well for our cats but don't try to sit on them yourself because they aren't super sturdy for a lot of weight. Work well for cats though.

I ordered a total of 4 of these ottomans to make one big ottoman for my couch. I have 3 cats, so I wanted to have at least one per cat anyway. With 4 of these, I could make a big cube where each vertical side of the cube has one opening. They are not connected, so they can be moved to accommodate guest seating needs - assuming that they are checked for occupancy first :-)Assembly is very simple (just unfold the 2 collapsible sides, set in the mat, and put on the lid), and the end product is very sturdy (the bottom mat stabilizes the collapsible sides).For reference, my cats are in the 12-15 pound range. They each can fit comfortably inside an ottoman. I have attached some pictures for size references.

It said it can be used for small dog. She was always trying to lay under things but she was only about 2 lbs. I do store her toys and treats in and she will go in and get them I got the black one it might just be too dark for her. BUT. It is a great foot rest perfect size for me

Expensive for what you get. It’s fake leather and cardboard but my chihuahua loves hers

Great little ottoman for my living room! My Chihuahua LOVES it! He went in it right away and hangs out in it regularly!

My pet rabbit loves it, its his "man cave"...lol
