How hard it is to make an accurate ruler? If you check it against a tape measure, it isn’t accurate. To appoint where above 170 cm it lies by about a full centimeter.

This is a nice & versatile measuring device. While it most commonly would be used as a growth chart, I really like that it can be used in sections as well & also gives me the unique ability to measure feet. Comes in seven 1ft sections that you put together manually with plastic connector pieces. The connectors are a little wonky & not the easiest to use for assembling & disassembling, but they work. Also comes with 3m stickers for sticking the sections to the wall, a slider & a fixed marker. I have to say, that when I ordered, at first glance I though this was like my grandpa’s old wooden ruler that you folded out from a stack that was held together by pins. It’s definitely not. I thought I’d dislike it at first, but after using it this way, I appreciate it’s versatility. I do wish the connector pieces weren’t so difficult to use, though. All in all, it’s a pretty neat ruler that I can recommend.
