For the most part, I am happy with the camera. My only problem is it takes a little bit of time before it starts recording so you actually are just walking up to the door before it starts recording and the person has to walk up five steps and across the deck without being recorded. It is clear in the daytime and at night time as well. The color is very good. It has a wide angle and I can see 4 of my neighbors houses with one camera. Not too difficult to set up. Great quality for the price. I have purchased four of these and have them set up all over the outside of my house and I can even see the vehicles driving on the road (160ft away).

I was truly not expecting a whole lot from these little cameras. I got them yesterday and thus far they have wowed me. I can't imagine better cameras at this price point. Setup was incredibly easy...the easiest I have run across when trying to set up ANY new electronic device. I did note that they are rated for 2.4 GHz only but I do not have access to 2.4 GHz and the distance from the cameras wouldn't be a huge distance away, so I set up one just to see if it would work with my 5 GHz. EDITED TO ADD: I have been told by someone that my router may have mixed 2.4/5Ghz technology inside even though I do not have access to see that listed separately when I look at available wi-fi connections. I do not own the router; it is simply what is provider by my internet provided. It did and it does...flawlessly. One of the cameras is just outside a window about 15 feet from my wireless router. The other camera is at least 25 feet away on my back patio...with a brick wall and 2 interior walls between the camera and the router. I, of course, cannot promise that others will have the same experience...it may have to do with the fact that my router is placed up near the ceiling and that the fiberoptic service I have is overall stellar. Both cameras perform equally well on my 5G. I tried one camera just facing out my front window and it performed great through double-paned windows with a screen on them. Night vision was not so good because of the glare (which is well noted in the documentation provided, I just wanted to give it a try). So I just raised the screen a bit and used super strength Velcro to attach the camera to my window ledge and night vision was great. Just to note: I do live in a condo complex and there are security lights around all the buildings, so my cameras are not operating in total darkness or extremely low light situations. I am still fine tuning my activity zones, alerts and such. Some folks say there is a lag between detection and notification. There is a several second delay but nothing excessive on mine anyway. But I truly only want/need the cameras to capture/record things so that I can go back and look if anything seems amiss around my place. The battery life seems very good thus far. The front camera gets a lot of activity, some of which in the past 24 hours is because of me messing around with the camera. From a 90% charge, in roughly 24 hours, the front camera is down to 61% and the rear camera is down to 70%. I am fine with charging the batteries every few days because it means I do not have to worry about running a cord to a plug. I believe a person can purchase solar panel power but this is just a monitoring thing for me, so if the batteries run down and the camera misses something, it is not a huge deal to me.

I'm not sure what to think of this camera, and whether or not I'm going to go with a different brand. I got this camera for the sole purpose of watching the front area of our house because in the past we have had several times where someone damaged our old vehicle. The quality of the video is great - both day and at night. There are times when it lags but I'm sure that has to do with my Internet connection; so it's not the camera's fault. However...I have a few issues that kinda get on my nerves sometimes. First, when I go to view the live feed of the camera, most of the time I will encounter 'connecting' before actually showing the live feed. This can either go on for a couple to several seconds. But sometimes, it just doesn't connect at all...forcing me to close out of the app, then retry. Again, this could be an Internet issue? But idk. Second, there are times when it's not recording movement when it very well should be. For example, it will record when a car pulls up and parks within the zone I have set. But then it doesn't record individuals exiting their vehicles and walking. This has happened to my own family's car and selves. It shows us pulling in and parking (the white car by the tree), but doesn't record us walking directly in front of our house and into our yard, when it should...because it's within the zone I have set. And YES, I have it set up to record when people pass by, not just vehicles. However it seems to have no issue of recording neighbors passing by in front of our house. Third, I have a zone set up. It cuts off just before the end of our block. However, I'll get notified about an approaching vehicle...ONCE it's already at the end of our block and about to make a turn. It's out of the zone at that point. So I like this camera, but with the annoying issues...I might look for another. Unless I can get assistance/feedback on what could be causing these problems I am having. If these issues can be fixed, I won't look for another camera. So - Not detecting movement by people when it should, notifying me of things that are OUT of the zone I have set, trouble connecting to see the live feed. EDIT: So I have done some research outside of the pamphlet provided and have done some things to improve my experience with this camera. 1. In order to greatly extend the battery life, I turned off audio. It's not something I needed anyway. 2. I edited the area (zone) I wish to record, reducing it down to only what really matters. 3. Next I plan on putting the camera at a different angle to see if that helps with capturing movement. I've also figured that the trees that are lined up along the sidewalk in front of my house can interfere with what the camera is able to capture. I will be cutting some of the trees to improve visibility. So, with my edited comment - I really do like this camera. Hopefully I can get the recording of movement problem fixed, by adjusting the positioning of the camera. I would like to get a 2nd camera as well. As far as the connectivity issues, if you experience that like I do sometimes - it's the internet, not the cameras, fault. So with that part I will just have to deal sometimes. So overall, for the price and what this camera offers, it's a pretty good camera!

Updated review: I upgraded my rating to hopefully help keep the employees of this "company" from being punished by their bosses in Beijing. I have great sympathy for the Chinese people. The people who work for this "company" are desperate for 5 star reviews. I can only give 4 stars without completely selling out. The seller has been very communicative trying to resolve my issues with this camera. They also provided a full refund becasue It's not working up to my expectations. I cant change how the camera behaves. It's too slow for what I wanted/expected to use it for. I have very good WiFi, thats not the problem and my internet is Gigabit Fiber. But, I CAN say this company really wants you to be happy and promises to work hard to resolve any flaws in the system. Reading reviews here, a lot of people are having good results...the cameras are meeting the expectations of a lot of customers. 3 star reviews are only 3% of the reviews here, so the camera is making a lot of people happy. I did forget to say, the setup was very easy. There is a record time feature that wont let me set it to the 20 minutes its shows an option for though. The live view can be frustrating. I had workers coming to my door the other day and it just decided at that moment it would be pain and refuse to connect. As I write this, I tested the live view and it took about 8 seconds to connect. I can live with that, but the other day it never connected in time for me to see the crew coming down the sidewalk. Some days are better than others! I have a Ring Floodlight cam that connects usually in less than 2 seconds. It used to have similar troubles as this GMK camera but they have improved the app some. Hopefully GMK will be able to improve theirs too. Original review: Very few features included unless you pay for the renewing upgraded services. I didn't even try the free trial of those services because the motion detection is so slow, it doesn't even notify me of someone coming to my front door until well after they have rung the doorbell. Otherwise, without the extra services, this thing will pick up every squirrel and even shadows of tree limbs moving, but whatever it picks up, is old news. I wanted a camera that could be accessed from phones because we got a new front door with privacy glass and can’t see out. The camera allows me or my wife to see who is at the door and talk to them without having to go near the front door. The camera WILL record someone coming to the front door and could be helpful in knowing who and when it was, especially if we are not home, so it is useful, just not for real-time, this-second, security notifications. I don’t even use notifications...I turned them off. Mainly because squirrels, deer and tree shadows are the majority of what is recorded, and the notification is too slow to alert me of a person in real time anyway. I only turn it on when I leave the property.
