I have used similar products over the years and they all had the same issues - a holding tank that was way too small and fans that were underpowered. That is not a problem with the Arctic Air Ice Jet X3. The reservoir hold more than enough ice and water to last through the night. Waking up after a good 8 hours of sleep and the unit is still putting out its cooling mist.The fan puts out a nice breeze from several feet away without a lot of noise. The controls are intuitive and easy to understand. The speed, amount of mist and the light are easy to reach and control. I especially like that when you turn off the night light function that one more press of the button turns off the lights on the controls which is nice since I like to sleep in a dark environment.It is well built with a sturdy base so I am not worried about it tipping over during the night.

What they don't tell you in the description or in enclosed information manuals is that you need to:"Please ensure that you are using a 7.5 watt or higher USB adapter or USB plug on your computer. A standard adapter is about 2-4 watts and will not provide sufficient power to power the unit. "They do not send the adapter just a cable, so if you don't have one hanging around, you'll need to purchase it additionally to run the unit.

Perfect for both parents and baby. Our house is freezing with the AC, except in the bedrooms. It would cost a fortune to redo the AC, but now we don’t have to. This little thing cools down our bedroom so quickly and we are finally able to sleep. Very powerful and very cold and it also has a great ‘white noise’ sound to sleep by. Just awesome.

was super excited when I got this and loved it. However, it decided to just randomly stop working, go figure 2 weeks after the return window expired. it lights up and all the buttons act as if it works, but the blades have stopped spinning, and I’ve tried to make sure that there’s nothing stuck in there and cleaned it out with the duster, but it hasn’t helped at all so I guess it’s just garbage now. pretty upset, don’t bother wasting your money on this product

This uses a sort of cool mist humidifier technology to create a mist stream that is then sort of directed at the fan to provide slightly cooler air. In a blind test where I turned the mist on and off at random and closed my eyes, I was barely able to tell the difference if I'm being completely honest. It was noticeable, but by no means dramatically so. It is a little loud as others have noted, I don't mind it. Most fans are noisy. Easy enough to use, it has three buttons with obvious functions - mist, fan speed, lights. The basin holds enough water to last for a good long while but it is probably not well enough insulated to stay cold if used outside on the hottest days for more than an hour.

This is the 3rd. mini air conditioner brand that I have tried. So far, this definitely cools better than the others I have purchased. It is slightly louder than the others, but definitely worth the value and the cooler air it blows. It has a much stronger fan also than the ones before it. 100% satisfied!!
