9 month old puppy and 9 year old dog alike both love these bones. They’re beagle/harrier so the flavour keeps them interested - never seen our 9 year old play with toys like this before. They’re much more durable than anything else I’ve purchased yet. They’re certainly not indestructible though.

Seem robust and well made

I have lots of Nylabones for my dogs and this one has gone down a storm, so much so I have just ordered another. I only gave the bone to my dog earlier this week as we've just got a puppy and I wanted to give my older dog a nice new bone as the pup has lots of new toys. Both the pup and older dog love this bone, but they have chomped through one corner so fast, the large red corner peg has fallen out which could easily be choked upon and also a large chunk came away which could have been choked upon, I keep finding little piles of shavings from it on the floor which considering they're in a wet lump, I think the older dog has brought them up. This just seems different from other nylabones and I' don't feel as confident about it as I do with others.

As with most nylabone products my dog loves having a good chew on this so clearly the flavour appeals. I don't really understand the red bits in the middle as my dog, like most others I assume, doesn't even really taste the middle bit, he chews on the ends instead. As a word of caution you should keep an eye on your dog when chewing this as the plastic becomes very sharp when chewed and can scratch their gums causing them to bleed. The packet recommends taking the treat away once the knuckles on the ends are worn down. However, it does provide hours of fun so well worth it. The medium size is fine for my dallie even though the dog pictured on the packet is quite small. I tried getting the bigger size but my dog found it too big to chew comfortably.

Went in the bin after 2 days. Don't buy this if your dogs are hard chewers. I ended up with bits of plastic stuck in the carpets and throws after only 2 days. When I noticed what was happening I was horrified and just relieved it didn't get stuck in their throats. I have French bulldogs BTW and will stick to Kong in future.

Bigger than expected which was a bonus. My dog wanted to chew it immediately and can tell it’s going to last ages! Very good for aggressive chewers

The product appeared very robust & had a slight bacon smell. But my dog was enjoying it too much and has managed to totally gnaw away one end. I wouldn't mind if it didn't cause her to cough and gag at each chew. We've had to stop using now.
