not too sturdy but functional
I gave this 3 stars mainly due to them coming apart while installing into soil. However, once installed they do work in supporting vegetables like cukes or peppers that grow on a vine though I used stakes for added support as the plants grew. if you decide to purchase these keep in mind they are not meant for heavy plants and you would need to use two of them together for proper support. They are also not very high .

Perfect Little Trellises — Sturdy, Cute, and Great for Potted Plants!
These 16‑inch bamboo trellises are exactly what I needed for my climbing plants. They’re lightweight but surprisingly sturdy, and the fan‑shaped design gives vines plenty of places to grab onto. The bamboo looks natural and blends beautifully into pots and garden beds. They’re the perfect size for smaller climbers like peas, mini cucumbers, philodendrons, pothos, or young tomato starts. Excellent & Easy to Assemble
Love this item. Maybe should have ordered a taller size but it’s so easy to assemble, and I put it in my high raised garden. That was a mistake but, as for now, it’s serving its purpose.

Surprisingly sturdy
I was pleasantly surprised by how sturdy the trellises are. The perfect combination of strong and flexible. Much more attractive than metal, too. Great for protecting my outdoor potted plants from strong winds.

WARNING - CHECK HEIGHT - NOT LARGE
I thought these were taller than what they arrived. I found them useful for my small trailing plants like hoya and philodendrons but not at all useful for morning glory or bougainvillea
