Amazing for the money!
My oldest son is getting his bachelors degree in engineering this year. He has always been a bit of a nerd. When he saw the 780 Optiplex computer we purchased he told us how Dell Optiplex computers are nothing like the computers you can purchase at Best Buy or Wal-Mart. He told us that they are loaded with superior parts because they are usually used in corporate surroundings and not in the home. And I believe him. To say that this refurbished computer is fast is an understatement. It boots up in seconds and loads websites like turning pages in a magazine. The picture is sharp, crisp, and amazingly colorful. The only draw back is that it came with a new key board that must of been made for children. Way too small for a galoot like me. I purchased a 4 year extended warranty for about $ 20.00 The 780 comes with Windows 10 home version 64bit and a HD DVD drive. A removable Bluetooth USB transmitter and a WIFI Dongle. Their words not mine. So quite. It has never made a single sound. No fan noise, nothing. So easy to use. Traditional plug and play for the mouse and scanner/printer. Well worth the $151.00 or so that we paid for it. We just added our old monitor which also is a Dell. We couldn't be happier. Oh and its small for a desk tower. about 3inches wide and maybe 12 inches by 12 inches. Dig it.

I Love it (BUT) !
I bought this exact same one 2 years ago for only $68, it worked very good until last month when it just died.At $68 I consider two years of having no problems to be a computer cost of around $34 a year (Excellent) buy.so I got the same exact one (Optiplex 755) but inflation it is now $119, however this one has more RAM at 500GB last one was like 160GB.I set it up yesterday and it was so easy, much easier then the last one.I have to say I have found absolutly no proublems setting it up (so simple). Its exactly what was advertised "Exactly" and it arrived right on time.NOW the few cons...It came with a very bad smell from the finishing coating, had to air out the room all yesterday, but is all gone now,It comes with a "wireless" usb plug with no explanations of how to use, it also comes with another usb plug not at all saying what its for. ( I am using "ethernet connection" so not a problem "YET" ).It has a small dent on the side, but hard to see unless your doing a inspection.I bought a 3 year extended war for my last $68 dollar one which was stupid as its more costly and stressful to figure it out and ship it for repairs, and I was stupid enough to get it again for $13, (I'm a sucker I guess cause Ill never use it).Short version... I loved the last one and expect to love this one even more.Sincerely...Michael

Great deal!
I bought this to use the processor and Windows 10 for audio recording as well as the unit's memory for audio file storage. I chose it because, frankly, I was disinterested in spending $1000 on something that had 90% more software than was useful to me. Works like a charm...Having said that, it should be noted that this computer did include all the standard Windows apps (which I easily removed to make space). I don't wish to misrepresent the product by suggesting that it comes "loaded lightly". That is to say, it comes standard so if you need programs such as Microsoft Office, Explorer, etc, they do come installed and ready to use. The seller even included add-ons such as USB Wi-Fi and Bluetooth dongles. So for the price, I have to say this is as good a value as available IMO.Very satisfied

The seller shipped a defective product then made excuse after excuse for their lack of support!
I have a monitor. It was NOT the problem. Your "plug and play" did not! I had to pay someone to help me reset the computer, so I could log in. The helper told me it should have been set up BEFORE shipping because it obviously had NOT been! (Not my words, a Microsoft Certified Tech's words!) Your claims of "plug and play" are not valid! In response to the customer service and tech support not being the same entity, why is it when I called each of them, I got the same person and ultimately the same FULL mailbox? On a weekend the mailbox shouldn't be full. The idea that it was full tells me 1 of 2 things: the rep doesn't check their messages which isn't good, or your product is such junk that lots of people have experienced problems causing them to reach out to customer service, which isn't good either! Whichever the situation Amazon will be told the simple facts! If you don't like the facts, you need to ship a better product, improve your brochure, solve the full mailbox issue and/or get your customer service representative/tech support person off their lazy butt to respond to their mailbox calls so it is not full!If I were not desperate to access my online files for work, I would most certainly have returned the Dell computer! In my opinion, you owe me the cost of the service that helped me fix the defective device you sent.

Great value.
Nice system for the home, plenty of memory, easy to set up and use. Quick shipping, great packaging. Plenty of bang for the buck. Would recommend to a friend!

Good for the price
The "Dell" button is loose and is about to fall off. It's capability for two monitors was not available, I had to take it to a computer shop to have it installed. Good for the price, but not what I expected.

Great value for a project computer
I'm not sure how long the entire unit will last, but for the same money, you can't buy the parts individually. They should take the "Blue Tooth" information off the description. The Wi-Fi dongle, ok... I ordered a cheap Wi-Fi card, plus a 2tb hard drive. I'm not gaming with this platform, I got it strictly for internet use when I need more storage and a bigger screen. The biggest issue I see is that the power supply may be a crap shoot. I don't care. The case, the motherboard and processor are what I need to work and they seem to be very stable.
