Highly recommended! I hate buying chairs without testing them out in person, but because I had read great reviews, I took a risk and ordered it. It was easy to assemble and is very comfortable. I misunderstood and thought the seat and back would be hard plastic but it is not; it is firm but has give and is not squishy. The plastic parts to help cover the mechanisms are really cheap looking, so minimal deduction there. The 5 way adjustment doesn’t seem exactly accurate as the angle of the back and the angle of the seat move in unison so they are not individually adjustable. That said, I start to hurt quickly when things aren’t adjusted properly, and this chair has been really comfortable. Although not 5 star perfect, would definitely recommend!

Easy assembly. Comfortable sturdy resilient chair. Has several features to make it adaptable to different sitting conditions -- stool, chair, tilt, high back, low back.... We have had several for quite a while and like them so much that when the need arose, we purchased another.

Very sturdy and comfortable

I first discovered these at my place of work. Later I got one for my home (you can buy it directly from the Global Industrial website). I have a desk that I built at standing height for which this chair is perfect. If I lower the seat I can tuck it entirely under my desk and reclaim my floor space. I got it without the armrests because I prefer to sit cross-legged. It is cut resistant which is great because I have a cat who likes to sharpen her claws on it, and so the fact that this chair isn't upholstered is really important to its longevity. I tested it a bit and the design is great because even at full height I really can't make it fall over, even by rocking back and forth and leaning far off the edge of it. The only issue I have is that sometimes over time the back starts to slide lower, because I guess I am not able to tighten the knob enough by hand. Also one lever lowers and raises the chair, and the other tilts the chair, but if you confuse the two you'll get sent flying off the chair which is fairly amusing.Update: Ultimately two issues made me lower the number of stars...One is that the backrest height slipping down to the minimum over time really bothers me, because it can be hard to un-tighten/re-tighten the knob for that. Two is that the edge of the seat of the chair developed a crack (not a superficial tear, but a split in the material that goes about 1 inch deep).

Very good stool, easy to assemble, well constructed and comfortable. Seat cover is thick and should last a long time. The adjustable foot rail is a nice feature that makes the chair more comfortable when your seated for a long time. Its a bit expensive but the chair should last for many many years so that makes it a good value. I am considering buying another one in the near future.

Got this for my son's design studio because he says it is the one he used at school, and could comfortably sit in it for hours at the workbench. Good quality, durability (it has been a year or more) and easy to assemble. All good, highly recommended.
