The first hour I used this umbrella was awful… it kept rotating downward and I had to push it back in place over and over. Finally I realized there wasn’t any traction holding the clamp steady on the perfectly round back bar of my chair. No matter what I did, the clamp would sink the umbrella down forward from its weight. I decided to innovate and I took a bungee cord strap I had in my bag, and wrapped it tight around the chair back bar, THEN put the umbrella clamp ontop of that. It worked well to give traction or a grip to the clamp, and the umbrella stays put even in a mild wind. You could probably invent different hacks to make the clamp grip, from duct tape to even the tread stickers they make for shoe bottoms…. But bungee cord wrap will be my solution. I appreciate the three places you can tilt the umbrella …. You can pretty much get whatever sun coverage you want. I collapse the umbrella anytime I leave the chair seat bc otherwise the chair might get blown down in the wind. I recommend this product… but it requires you to fix it so it grips properly.

We love these umbrellas! They have a great swivel to protect us from the sun and the clamp works most anywhere. We would highly recommend them!

This umbrella is a great addition to my wheelchair! The umbrella itself rotates for different amounts of sun coverage, you can rotate the clamp so it can attach to different items and you can adjust the angle of the umbrella. It is easy to attach and detach. I feel it worth the money for easy of mind as I burn easily. You do need to be careful if it's windy as the wind will blow it just like a regular umbrella. I like it so much my friend bought one for her daughters stroller and I got another one to have when we travel out of state. It is easy to use, you just push up the rail of the umbrella to open it and it locks into place and you don't have to worry about pinching your fingers when you close it you slide it down and it closes. Also the storage bag it comes with is nice so that you know it's protected when not in use.

I ordered the 39-inch small size, and it really serves the purpose. It’s basically a personal umbrella that clamps onto the chair and gives me the shade I need without dealing with a full-size beach umbrella. It covers me well and feels just right for one person. The clamp feels solid, and overall it looks like good quality. Nothing flimsy or cheap about it. I plan to use this at the beach on my beach chair, and it seems like it will be perfect for that—simple, practical, and easy to use. If you’re looking for a personal shade solution rather than something bulky, this does the job well.

Man I needed this in my life and was so looking forward to it but sadly, it over promises and under delivers, material is THIN . A LOT SMALLER THAN I realized even with the measurements. I just received it so I will give it another few days and update my review. I purchased the XL to see if it have better luck because the regular is toooooo small. It looks a lot bigger because i tool pic super close so it looks a lot larger than what it actually is in real life. The whole reason to buy this was for shade and so I didn't have to hold it but it have to hunch underneath it to get shade and its not comfortable. I would probably have better luck with a regular umbrella zip tied to my chair or railing. I bought this and another style on Amazon resale and after reading other reviews, I can see why they both have so much resale stock. Please don't let the picture I posted fool you, it is NOT that big, it was all about angles and I'm somewhat of a professional picture taker lol. The plastic rotating bulb you have to screw on to tighten to chair or railing had a sharp edge and sliced my finger so please be careful for sharp plastic edges. I think this may work on a baby stroller but I needed it for my outdoor patio chair and I don't find it comfortable to hunch underneath it. It says you can rotate the plastic parts 360 but its more like 340 and when you need to tilt the thin pole holding the umbrella you can see why that makes difference. I will update once the larger size arrives. AGAIN please do not let my pictures fool you, they remind me of the size of a child's umbrella.
